Came here for our honeymoon and this hotel is in a great location, they look after you so well and the food is really nice. A special mention to Marcos who works on the front desk. He made sure we was well looked after and made our stay unforgettable. We had a slight issue with our penthouse suite and he gave us complimentary spa passes and late checkout to say sorry. Obviously he didn't have to do this for us but he did this because he wanted us to have the best experience. Thank you Marcos.

Me and my partner went here for a short getaway. Definitely worth it. Room was lovely and spacious with the clean bathtub in the room. We also got the fruit and drink (got junior suite). The little added amenities were really nice touch and added to our stay. Would be good if reiterated on booking that if you add the spa into the room you need to book this prior to entering spa (all depends on availability). The spa itself was really good and lots of different areas and pools to go too. Only other thing would say that it is a 4* and as such would have expected the area under the bed to be cleaned once in a while. It was full of dust. The location is good and there's a good few restaurants close by on the beach front which is only a short walk away. It also has private parking. Will definitely re-visit

Room was ok.. but not cheap so expect it to be.But... and read this and believe...The breakfast was disgusting... the buffet was not heated and the food.. if I can call it that was awful. The coffee was.. awfulThe orange machine.. broken..Staff useless..The food manager... horrible little man.. rude and dismissive...Was on the mobile all the time and trying to communicate was disrespectful and a joke.Do.. not.. eat.. there.. in fact.. there are other hotels at the price.. go there. This is the world of reviews..And .. believe... this is 100% genuine.

The room was not very clean, they didn’t even clean it the next day. The worker at the reception is not the most helpful. The location of the hotel is good, parking around the hotel is free.We did not use the breakfast , spa and pool. There are many delicious cafes within a 10-15 minute walk.

Great Hotel to relax and enjoy. Very close to the beach with its access to a big selection of restaurants. You can walk into Marbella along the sea front. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of June. Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings. Travelled with 2 SEN children and was greatful for the all inclusive buffet meals at the hotel as they had routine things such as chips and plain chicken and pastas. Only downside really is that the hotel is smack bang in between everything and so it takes a 20 minute local bus to get to a beach, fast food place or shop. Hotel does have a small shop for things like snacks and drinks but is overpriced. Plenty of choices for pools between the hotel pools and the beach club makes a good day out. Wouldn't visit again but did have a wonderful stay

My wife and I spent 6 nights here with our two kids aged 5 & 10 and had a brilliant time. We would be more than happy to go back again!Staff were always friendly and helpful everywhere we went. Spanish/English barrier is there but it’s easy to navigate and staff all understood and spoke English very well. The animation team were especially impressive with their energy and games to keep guests and kids entertained. The room we were in was a great size, plenty of room for the two kids on a sofa bed, a small fridge was there for keeping drinks cold and the bathroom was fantastic also. I gave the rooms only 4 stars because the legs on the beds in the actual bedroom were hanging off, eventually came off but were completely replaced when reported to reception within an hour so perfect service anyway. The breakfast, lunch and dinner service were very efficient. The food was lovely and always fresh; if you’re in to trying new foods you will enjoy the selection they have. Lunch bites are served between certain times at the Tiki bar around the pool which is perfect if you have kids with a never ending hunger and thirst! For kids there is a disco at 21:00 each night which is great for tiring young kids out before bed. They have an arcade with 4-5 pool tables, plenty of games and a bowling alley with three lanes which is perfect for older kids too.The beach club was lovely and my favourite place to relax, it’s a 10 minute walk or quicker if you get the free open top bus from the front of the hotel to the entrance. If you are all inclusive you can enjoy all the same benefits here. They have a pirate ship with a slide and a few water slides which you need to rent a large inflatable for.All in all, our experience here was very good. I would recommend it to families looking for an all in one place to stay to keep the kids and yourselves entertained!

Me and my 10 year old son spent 10 days at the Polynesia. We both loved it and were very grateful to have Sergio on reception. He was the most friendly and helpful member of staff that we came across. Helping us with things to do and places to go. Made us feel at ease, just what I needed being on holiday alone with my son. Thank you Sergio, you’re the best! X

Really nice hotel staff very friendly and food was brilliant a good amount of choice for all.Main reception on ground floor and restaurant on level -1, arcades good selection and spa and shop on floor -2 plenty of lifts kids enjoyed it so a bonus. Things to do out of hotel a bit of a way away main shopping centre 5 miles 1 way and other way a nice marina and sea world 5 miles the other bus fair €1.20 each catch bus 120 goes all the way there.Again brilliant hotel very spacious

We visited Holiday World Polynesia as a family of four in May 2024.Staff were excellent, fluent in English and good with children, especially those in the restaurant. The restaurant buffet is the best we’ve experienced from any hotel we’ve visited. The reception area is breathtaking and beautifully constructed.Views from the restaurant area of Fuengirola and the coastline are exceptional. The hotel has childcare, an arcade room, a convenience store and many other amenities on site- which in itself is very secure and has security monitoring 24/7.

Great hotel friendly and helpful staff.Meals were very good and plentiful. We went a bit earlier so season wasn't in full swing so much quieter than it would have been.My only concern was the walk up to hotel, if anyone has walking difficulties then maybe order taxis to pick up outside of reception, rather than the free shuttle to town centre or beach., would be more beneficial.Other than that would definitely recommend this hotel.

A slightly tired hotel. Bedrooms and bathrooms in need of revamp and better repairs to damaged tiles etc. Food very basic and not a great deal of variety from day to day. Restaraunt staff very busy and at times a little rude and ignorant. Nighttime entertainment repetitive for the kids and seemed to get shorter each day. Followed by a single game of bingo which to be honest was one game too many. Most evenings the entertainment was provided by three staff members doing various styles of the same dances. Sorry to be negative but there was nothing better than average about any aspect of the hotel, food/drink or accommodation. Also towards the end of the week as the hotel got busier the hotel employed a very threatening looking security guard to challenge people for evidence of their all inclusive status at the bar. (handcuffs and truncheon proudly worn) explain that to the kids. Would not wish to revisit.

Beautiful hotel! Very clean and friendly staff especially the cleaning staff couldn’t have asked for better. The walk up to the hotel was on an incline so a bit difficult for us, handy having seating outside so we could rest before carrying on to our rooms. Was a bit frightening using the right hand lift as it jolted a lot only used a couple of times.dinning hall was lovely and plenty of selection to suit many.Desserts were disappointing as they were very samey

Came last year with husband and our 2, there is something going on all day to keep everyone entertained, rooms and hotel very clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly. We only booked this holiday 10 weeks ago as wanted to celebrate our 25 Anniversary so we decided to come back, as we walked into the restaurant Imed remember us from last year and was so welcoming, we wasn't sure he would remember us as he see loads of new faces ever day. He is one of the nicest, friendly, helpful person I know.nothing is to much trouble xxxx

Russ Says Cut

Myself and my wife had a lovely time at this hotel last year so much so we come back again this year. The main reason we chose to come back was due to Imed the restaurants host, he is literally the nicest man in Spain, always so welcoming and happy to see everyone as they come and go and very helpful. It was nice that he remembered us too. There is loads to do here and always something going on I'd definitely recommend staying.

The saying you get what you pay sums up this hotel perfectly. Booked 8 nights for £1,200 (all inclusive), we booked it about 10 months ago when the hotel was under different name and honestly just thought it would be a cheap cheerful quiet get away from the awful English weather… I think I would have a preferred the rain. This hotel is NOT a 4 star. 2 at best. The rooms are dated, mini fridge isn’t stocked, no tea or coffee making facilities, no bin in the room, the safe looks like it was built in 1800s, no toiletries, no towel service, no bottles of water (this is chargeable, they have unsanitary water dispensers where the general public of the hotel rub the nozzles of their bottles to the tap…), no iron, no double beds unless you’re a family (it has none of the things that make a 4 star hotel a 4 star). It does however have a hairdryer! The rooms are awful, you can hear your neighbours talking, coughing, showering, flushing the loo, and other things…. There’s absolutely no peace or quiet between the hours of 11pm - 2am …. It was like (trying) to sleep in the middle of Kings Cross station! Unfortunately according to the staff there are no quiet rooms in this hotel and you should just “expect” the noise and deal with it.Good luck getting a sun lounger… the hotel has 400 rooms and about 30 sun loungers. The food… we ate here once for breakfast (there are no pastries, just bread and buns and the standard greasy breakfast bits), attempted the snacks (sausages, burgers, chicken nuggets) and tried dinner once (the salad bar… the cucumber tasted like it was farmed in 1970s and had been sat there that long)Unfortunately after 4 nights in this hotel from hell, we decided to cut our loses and check out, opting to check into a hotel 70km away in Spanish mountain village.

Peaky Blinder

Booked 5nights through Jet2, hotel reception area looks great, room is very small and dated, the pool area is ok even with the sun bed rush every morning didn’t really have a problem getting one, the rush is for position as the pool area starts loosing the sun at 4pm by 6pm 80% of the pool area is in the shade, restaurants are basic buffet type don’t expect anything special ? and can get very busy, all bars are very poorly staffed for an inclusive hotel, big queue for drinks ? I’m assuming to slow down consumption ? And then your only served small glass 1/2 pint ? And you have to pay for bottled water ? Lifts are very small and very slow and VERY NOISY if you’re located by one ? Hotel is family friendly and seemed quite at night, only one night of disturbance due to drunkenness ? This hotel is not close to the beach, it’s a bus ride away,Unfortunately would not rebook this hotel personally pushing 3 star very basic.

Lovely hotel. Most of the staff are delightful. Room clean every day. Pool is a good size. Location to shops and beach is great. Bus stop just up the road with frequent service and train station not far away. Plenty of food and drink.Weather was fantastic for mid AprilTaxi from airport only 20 EuroLocal taxi available just ask reception and they call for you

Been here a few days while the rooms are clean it's not a place that I would return to or recommend. absolutely nothing for the grandkids apart from the pool which is freezing, Saturday nights entertainment was a bit below the belt for kids, and the food that's a whole new story we are all inclusive and we have had to eat out 3 times now because there is nothing for the kids to eat. Please remember that you have English and Irish guests and food could maybe accommodate them to, apart from the nights I have eaten out I've lived on chips,

Danielle Curtis-Botting

Had a lovely stay. Room felt dated for a 4 star hotel but adequate for what we needed. Food was lovely, good quality. The staff we have spoken to have been nice. Bar staff are generous with their pours. Only issue we had was being booked for the wrong day in La Gioconda restaurant, but this was compensated and Carl was lovely about it! Only constructive criticism would be that maybe sunbeds are put out by staff rather than guests so there is move room for more beds and space to walk freely without knocking into anyone and better quality umbrellas as most were broken. For the price we paid, it has been lovely and we would stay again.

Absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back.Checking in and out was a breeze. Room was nice and clean with a lovely patio area outside. Full use of all the facilities in this beautiful resort. Food and drink was excellent, definitely doing all inclusive on our next stay. The location was ideal with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants around, and the beach directly facing the resort.Staff were incredible. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place!

A strange hotel! Full of contradictions. The entrance to the hotel feels fresh and modern, but when I get to the reception I get the feeling that this hotel has seen better days. Being checked in by a very nice and service-minded guy. Take the elevator to my floor. Here comes more contradictions. Get out of the elevator and see nice designer lamps. Looking where I'm going and being met by a dirty carpet that has seen better days. Going to my room with a little anxiety about what will come next. to my surprise, I step into a nicely renovated and very clean room. Is now buoyed with confidence and goes to the bar. The bar is far from neat. Completely cold and impersonal. On the outside you have to look for a clean chair. Apparently no one on staff cares. Again very nice staff in the bar. New day and I try the breakfast. Great! However, the noise level is far too high. Very nice staff. Checking out. Again very nice staff. A hotel that is full of contradictions and that with small funds would undoubtedly be worth a 4. We'll see if we see each other again.

Great Hotel. Have sea view room on 7th floor. Bed and breakfast no complaints. Great shows on at night's. Great pools, sunbathing area. Beach about 50 meter away. Plenty of shop restaurants etc all within walking distance. Perfect weather as well. This hotel will suit all ages.

Took a 6 month old baby and had a good experience. Indoor pool was great, but constantly battled with younger kids creating a havoc (given smaller children were using this pool, a life guard on attendance would have been good). Outdoor pools were impeccably cold but as for the rest of the facilities, very child friendly.

Candice Arhin

Stayed here for 7 nights , a very beautiful hotel with a great location. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed every day. The entertainment was good on 3/6 nights . Food was alright - some things were really tasty but most of the cooked meat from the grill was raw . You have to pay extra for drinks at dinner . I loved the daily sessions they had to offer including the yoga and Pilates. The indoor swimming pool was very clean and warm.Lots of places for seating but nothing really for kids in the off peak times . The beach is within walking distance . No drinking water provided was upsetting and had to pay €14 for kettle and tea .

HONEST review as of May 2024 - I did have a nice vacation, but I would not recommend the hotel to anyone.Out of 9 people I traveled with, each and every one had stomach issues at some point. It is not a coincidence, especially that some reviews of other people mention food poisoning.. Everyone experienced symptoms of nausea, throwing up etc. This made me very careful with food for the last two days, I ate boring things, today the smell of sandwich made me just throw it away.I am not a picky eater at all but the food really disappointed me, my dinners were pizza and fries only. The staff was very friendly except one lady that seemed bothered with us so we didn’t wanna ask her any further questions. Also it would be nice for a person working in a hotel to know basic English, as the lady in the SPA reception didn’t understand me at all.I also didn’t like the fact that room cards keep breaking down, during one week we had to go about 3 times to get them fixed, even if they are kept in the same bag as electronic device they stop working.Rooms were clean but I’d appreciate the regular bedding as we had to sleep under strange blankets from the wardrobe as there was literally no duvet, as if it was so hot we were to sleep covered with nothing (but the rooms were on the colder side). What I appreciated were the views, sea view rooms are very worth it, beach is very close too.The hotel’s pool was enjoyable as well. All in all, I think the hotel should improve. I did have nice time regardless, but this was my lesson to pick a 5* hotel next time. Especially the food - it plays a big role in the vacation experience in my opinion.

Hansy Dhaese

This hotel exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped into the reception. The staff was incredibly helpful and set the tone for a great vacation. The rooms were spacious, and the bathroom was a nice addition, although the lack of a toilet brush was a minor drawback. However, the breathtaking view more than made up for it.The daily cleaning service ensured that the rooms were always fresh and tidy, with a beautifully made bed to relax in after a long day.The restaurant offered an extensive selection of dishes to suit everyone's tastes, and the table service was excellent. Hygiene was a priority, which reassured us during dining. In the bar, we were pleasantly surprised by the all-inclusive package, with a wide choice of branded drinks and fast service. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome.Overall, this hotel is definitely recommended. You get value for your money, with decent service and good value for money. The only minor downside was the lack of a heated outdoor pool, but that didn't detract from the enjoyment.

aleksander czerwonka

We have no complaints about the hotel. The service is always nice and helpful. The food varies depending on who likes what. We chose the breakfast and dinner options. I'm a bit surprised that drinks, such as water and juices with dinner, are paid for - this is the hotel's policy - but the prices are normal. Close to shops, beach and bus stops. The rooms are generally clean, maybe they forget to clean under the beds. Towels and bed linen are changed regularly. If someone comes only to relax on the beach, they should be satisfied by the hotel swimming pool. The hotel organizes a party for guests every day.

Caroline Cody

We, a group of 8 for my daughter's hen do stayed for three nights. The hotel was nice, in a good location and rooms were spacious. However on our second day three of our party starting suffering from sickness and diarrhoea, which was severe and resulted in them not being able to leave their rooms.I was aware of the food hall where each cabinet was exposed for up to three hours, the duration of the eating times. This is clearly a problem with many groups of food, namely poultry and pork, being exposed for a long time under a low heating element. We narrowed down the culprit for all three cases of food poisoning to the chorizo sausages which they all exhumed.Unfortunately it did affect our stay there and it was very disappointing.I think it would be a kind gesture for the hotel to offer a reimbursem*nt for some of the stay as it clearly put a damper on our holiday. There is clearly a problem at the hotel which needs investigating starting with an inspection of the kitchen and food hygiene.I hope that this will be taken seriously as mine is not the only review stating this problem.

▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎ FOOD POISONING ▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎We have just gotten home after a long weekend staying at Hotel Best for my Hen Do. My Maid of Honour had done extensive research last year into Hotels and this one came out at the best for value, location, star rating and reviews. Sadly we have noticed that over the last two months the reviews have gone down hill and all mention about the food quality and a lot of which resulted in food poisoning whether it be sickness, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, cold and hot sweats or a combination the lot!Unfortunately out of our group of 8, 3 of my friends all came down with food poisoning on our third day there and was unable to leave their bathrooms all day! This really put a dampener on my Hen Do, as my group was incomplete and felt such a shame that my friends were unable to come out and enjoy it with me. For our last night, the 5 of us that were left, decided to go out for dinner for a meal that we could actually enjoy. Really bad that we have paid a lot of money for half board and didn't enjoy the food at the hotel at all and ended up paying out for a meal when we already had it included. The breakfast was okay but a few strange elements such as garlic bread and garlic potatoes - both of which I'd expect at dinner, not breakfast. The pasta sauces were vile - tomato one tasted like ketchup and the carbonara was watery and bland. All of the food was bland and had no flavour. It took a good 15 mins to wait for a stir fry, which at the time I'd gotten it, the rest of my plate had gone cold! We have narrowed it down to what we think is the chorizo sausages that may have caused the problem considering my 3 friends that were ill ate these and the rest of us didn't.Since getting back home, myself and also my Mum have reported to our group that we too have had a bout of food poisoning!I really don't think it is unreasonable for the hotel to give us a partial refund as a good will gesture considering there are many people who have complained about the same issue, so it has clearly come from this hotel and not "a bug" going round Benalmadena as they claim! The room keys would also stop working several times during our stay which was incredibly frustrating. The cleaner also did not replenish 3 towels in our room, resulting in me drying myself with a hand towel after a shower! The co*cktail menu wasn't very many and the ones they had didn't really taste very good or much like they were meant to. We also got charged twice for a bottle of wine at our table. Hotel itself is spacious and nice pool area, good location and rooms seemed to be clean and spacious too, but the food sadly really does tarnish all of the positives.Unfortunately, it did ruin the last 2 days of my Hen Do, which I will never get back and more importantly, you are making people ill which is a serious issue! I hope the hotel takes this matter into their hands and does something about it very quickly. I shall not be recommending anyone to stay here.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! Its prime location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met. The food options were not only delicious but also included healthy choices. The hotel offers great value for money, considering the level of service and amenities provided. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

Would give 6 stars if possible, hotel was clean throughout. Stayed for one week room was a good size with fridge included for free nice balcony with sea views, entertainment good, pools were a bit cold but expected for this time of year. Did not have any problems with sickness and we ate at the hotel 6 nights out of 7 and breakfast every day and we were both fine. The food exceeded our expectations well varied and really good. Steaks, roasted meats(carvery style) half chicken, paella, Chinese, curry, Spanish dishes, amongst other international food. Dessert was plentiful and an ice cream bar too. Hotel staff were happy, pleasant and attentive. Overall very happy with our stay. And would gladly stay here again.Thank you Ibersol Torremolinos Beach.

We had a lovely stay here for 4 nights recently - really loved our room, sea view +.The food was great, we weren’t sure what to expect but were really happy with it, also the drinks. The hotel was relatively quiet which suited us.The location was ideal for us too & made use of the beach.Lovely pool area.Would go back !

My husband and I have been here for three days and we have diarrhea and vomiting. Unfortunately, opinions on the Internet are not exaggerated. And you have to wait ages for the elevator. One room card doesn't work. Apart from that, the rooms were clean and had a nice view.

Fabulous 4 star hotel located a little out of the main strip but still has plenty of bars and restaurants to suit every taste. The hotel staff were kind polite and friendly. Our transfer was less than 10 minutes from the airport.Breakfast was great with selection of fruits, pastries, continental selection and hot selection.Pool area was clean and had plenty of sunbeds.Hotel bar was not overly priced (3 euros for a small beer) but if you wanted a cheaper option head to the main strip or the old town.Really nice hotel, would definitely recommend, spotlessly clean and nice decor throughout the lobby and bar areas.

Today has been a total.let down , 2nd or 3rd time, the room cleaner has taken our 2nd room door key card. And come back from a walk down the beach to find a rowdy load of lads singing and shouting whilst messing around in the children's paddling pool .Yes the the duty manager came and asked them to lower the tone but it fell on deaf ears. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Adequate for your stay.Service by the staff is very polite, professional. Always pleased to help..The location of our hotel was excellent, the beach was a short walk as where the shops.Would recommend to anyone

In summary I would that that it was comfortable and spacious room at a fair price. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel has good facilities, beautiful garden and swimming pool area. Good quality buffet breakfast with plenty of options. You can continue to use the hotel facilities and parking on the day after checkout which was handy for me as had to work from remote with my laptop. Here the no so good things. The main one was that the room carpets were very tired and old and the room smelled a little to tobacco. Another issue was that on busy hours internet can be slow and was not able to work from remote.

Loved our stay here, hotel was lovely, all areas of it were really nice, lounge area, dining rooms, outside areas around the pool and other little garden areas, very nice hotel.. The rooms were great, and we had an amazing view from the 6th floor!! The breakfast was very good, a HUGE choice of things to eat, always fresh and really good! Location was perfect for us, no more than 10min walk to the beach and around the same to the main town center for shops, loads of restaurants and pubs etc...

Just come back from this hotel , it has the potential of being a great find ! The rooms are very dated and the mattresses are so uncomfortable , and the sun beds are just so uncomfortable and worn out ! The food was reasonable and you wouldn’t go hungry ! The staff are great friendly and smart , 10 minute walk from the sea front with lovely beaches , nice pool area and bar ! So replace the sun beds and mattresses and update the rooms and this hotel would be top notch !! Having said that would return , the staff are great especially Laura !!

Luke Mair

The worst hotel I have ever been in.Gym equipment missing, room was small and uncomfortable. Staff were rude and couldn’t care less. People were sat on the floor when watching dreadful evening entertainment as not enough seats. Location is poor as there’s nothing around you. Could hear everything in my room so sleep was lacking. Could hear next doors tv, anyone in the corridor and the staff aren’t exactly quiet at 6am. Absolutely dreadful!

Location, location- on the beach with beautiful views from every spot In Sunset Beach. Only drawback was the number of people in the pool area. Walking along the beach watching dolphin pods swim in the evenings was a highlight too. Great breakfast buffet and store in the Sunset Beach Club.Close to everything in Malaga and a bus stop steps away. Loved our stay here!

What a peach of a hotel. It has everything. Comfy beds, a hair salon, a kids club, a cinema, a laundry. I could go in for ever. We went for my brother's wedding and to be honest we would have loved a few extra days. The pools were very clean and there was a poolside restaurant. The beach was only 100 steps away and it was very central to all the shops bars and restaurants. The only thing that disappointed was that the price of drinks in the hotel was almost the same as home. The bedrooms were very clean with room service every day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with young kids bits a 10 out of 10 from me

Kelly Dempsey

I could spend hours talking about how great this hotel was. Absolutely loved it. I would recommend this. Its great for couples and from what I could see family's too. Tonnes of activities. Plenty of restaurants and the pools were great. You will not want to come home.

Georgia Mckenna-Botton

Some pros and cons about this hotel, sofa beds are pretty uncomfortable, rooms could do with some updating, very busy, Lifts are very jumpy and always very busy could probably do with more lifts, pool side opens at 10am which is quite late compared to hotels I have been before. Kids mini disco was not great and arcades are outdated and half not working. And unfortunately due to my 2 year old son crying in the night (not for long) someone conplained reception come to our room to moan, which caused me anxiety though the night for the rest of the holiday. Pools are great though, lots for the kids to do, beautiful area, lovely food, great maid service and lovely staff!

Joseph O Neill

There is almost always a taxi outside but the concierge will call one. Walking is OK but it is on a hill. The pools are very good and the kids pool shallow all over. Note the opening times. Towels are available with a refundable deposit. The shop is reasonably priced with fresh baking. There is a good playground for all ages. Restaurants in the hote are reasonably priced. The shows at night are professional with excellent lighting visual effects and sound. There is a bar at the stage so no need to leave. The main bar also serves food but note the serving times. Big TV s here with sports.

I would definitely return to this hotel! It was so clean and modern. The room was cleaned everyday. Towels were given for us to take to the beach with no deposit needed. Staff were lovely and the food was great. They could do with adding some more drinks to the menu but all was still good! They did tell me they’d leave a bottle of fizz in the room as it was my partners birthday but unfortunately they didn’t end up doing that. Nevertheless I will definitely be returning.

Lorraine Elphinstone

Absolutely amazing! The hotel is spotless, food delicious whether you are breakfast only or half board both are worth in value, stone throw from marina, cross the road to a beautiful beach. 3 areas for lazing, rooftop pool a bit blowy when windy though, great grass area. There are always plenty of beds. Only left this morning, we all said it was fabulous and definitely return. Adult only great for the golfers.

Gillian Jones

We enjoyed our holiday at the hotel Alay. It's in a wonderful situation and we had fantastic views of the sea and marina. The hotel was nice and clean and decorated with beautiful plants and paintings, a lot of care and thought has gone into it. Cleaning of the room was good. The food in the restaurant was very good, there could be more choice of drinks in the evenings in the restaurant and the staff to be a bit more informed about them. If you want a beer you're not offered a glass, instead expected to drink from a wine glass! No option of size of wine glass, I think they expect you to always have a bottle... The day before we left, the hotel had become a bit noisier with groups of noisy male golfers/ stag? , some guests were complaining about the noise and rowdiness around the pool. Overall we were satisfied with our holiday and would like to return.

Wendy Hawthorne

A fantastic hotel. Staff were all so friendly. When we checked in we were told we had been upgraded. Our room and view was amazing. Thank you Alay. Situated in great location. Food good and varied. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again in the future.

McNally's Garage & Tyre Centre

Lovely hotel in excellent location near Marina and beach. Comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. Good service.Only problem - building going on next door and jack hammers, cranes and angle grinders started at 6am.

This was our second visit as we came last year. Sadly our experience was not the same! The food was terrible and I heard other guests comment the same. Also I developed food poisoning and ended up in hospital and sick for all of my holiday. When I told reception she completely dismissed it and said there had been no other reports so it couldn't be that. Well I heard multiple people vomiting whilst in my room and the hospital confirmed through tests that it was a parasite contracted via food or drink!!

The hotel was lovely, and the staff couldn’t do more to help you.As a vegan, the food was very limited, and I loved off salad, veg and riced. There was usually a token vegan dish, like rice, or spinach. On the last day, they had the “vegan dish” sign up with bacon underneath. I bit it, and immediately knew it was not vegan, but actually pig bacon. I asked the staff and they said the “vegan dish” sign hadn’t been removed from the night before. I was immediately really sick and it ruined my final day of the holiday. I spoke to the restaurant manager, who apologised and said he had spoken to his staff. I hadn’t eaten any meat got 25 years. This was a real downer on the holiday.

Maria D

The hotel is 4 stars, but I'd give it 3.The food choices were many, but the quality of the food wasn't great. The rooms were decent, but the walls were paper-thin, which really sucked as you could hear your neighbours from every side doing everything. The bath shares a shaft with the neighbours and when they do n2, you can smell it in your room -pretty awful. The hotel is quite crowded and usually if you have breakfast/lunch/dinner in the usual hours 90% are elderly people and it's difficult to get food because of the crammed restaurant.Coffee is terrible.

Sandra Parry

Just got home from a week at this hotel may I say absolutely lovely the staff location and the food was outstanding definitely going back there xxx

Eleonora Gudkova

The hotel is located in a very good spot. Loads of shops and restaurants, main Fuengirola beach 5min walk. Those people who have rated this hotel for 4* I think this was their first experience whatsoever... I definitely can't give it 4* or more! hotel has a nice and quiet rest area and inside pool ( need swimming hats if looking to use it)6: expensive ice cream and juice ( if self-catering or half board)

Hotel Puente Real has a fantastic beachfront location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at the buffet was good quality with a variety of options. There is also a snack bar which was lovely serving up toasties burgers chips etc...We did not in anyway shape or form enjoy the entertainment. It was mainly for the french which I find really disappointing as they were a small minority here. Infact It made the French seem so arrogant and entitled because of this. It would be great if they offered more shows in English or catered to a wider range of nationalities. We do recommend upgrading to the Gold package. Own area to the bar and restaurant and included Premium alcoholic drinks.Overall, we had a positive experience at Hotel Puente Real. Here's a quick breakdown of the pros and cons:Pros:• Excellent beachfront location• Friendly staff• Good quality food• Gold package is highly recommendedCons:• Entertainment mostly in French• Rooms could be a bit dated and in need of updating.• The French guests who stayed here were very arrogant and seemed rather entitled.I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront vacation, but just be aware that the entertainment is not in English.Would we come back? No!! Because of the French but still worth a 4 star rating.

This hotel we stayed in was clean, tidy and you can tell the staff there are working super hard. The only thing was, all 4 lifts were dodgy, one broke down twice while we were there. Also the food wasn't up to scratch. The eggs weren't cooked properly, burnt underneath and completely raw on top. Not much choice for dessert, only mousse, yoghurt and ice-cream usually. A lot of the food was questionable. Either over cooked, under cooked or just tasted off. All the fish they serve is absolutely full of bones. It's very, very cheap food. We went all inclusive but we couldn't eat a lot of the time there so had to eat out unfortunately. Everything else was good. Clean, nice, friendly. They need to improve the standard of food. Use higher quality ingredients.

Joe Leyland

Just got back today from a 1 week all inclusive stop here.We had 2 rooms between 4 people, both rooms were great. They were cleaned daily to a very high standard. The food was good, there was a large selection offered at all meal times, I wasn't really a fan of the breakfast but no one else in my party had any complaints there. Dinner and Tea time were both good, a large selection every day as well as mixing up the offerings daily which is always good to have. The soup in particular was flawless everyday, every new option was continuously done perfectly and always piping hot. The pool bar which offers snacks during the hours the main restaurant isn't open was very good. It has a small selection of food for you to choose from, but its cooked fresh right in front of you and was always very tasty. The hotel is in a great location right across from the beach, you can walk all the way up the front straight from the hotel and there is also a bus top literally right outside the hotel boundary if needed. The main pool area was large, we only spent one day directly at the pool and had no problem securing beds midday. The staff were always friendly, bar service was fairly quick for the most part but sometimes an extra staff member could have helped. There's a system in place for pouring your own drinks during the day which the pool bar has here which is very good, all all inclusive hotels should have this. I can't speak much for the entertainment as its not really something I take advantage of when I'm away but they all seemed very nice and they're a sizeable team! The only issue I could point out at this hotel is the lifts in the main building, maybe I have been lucky in the past but I've never had the wait times for lifts anywhere else like I had here. Sometimes it would be fine and quick but regularly you could be stuck waiting 3-5 minutes if you're in a group.I would definitely recommend this hotel though and would happily stay here again!

Craig Long

We was worried at first after reading the reviews but we needn't of been. Room was a bit dated with very noisy fridge. But the large balcony and sea view made up for it. Food was nice but got sick of eating it by the end of week and canteen was very busy. Evening entertainment was OK.. the hotel dose cater/look after the French more. Staff work there socks off. Especially the cleaners..pools was good but to small for the amount of people there..we would definitely go again.

john graham

Definitely not a 4 star hotel as promised when we purchased the holiday. The food was substandard and repetitive. I have never stayed in a hotel room where the kitchen had been converted into a built in wardrobe with a fridge in.The drinks were great and were the staff, particularly the animation team.It was clear that there was a lot of focus on guests who were French as they had exclusive activities each evening at 7pm. I spoke with many guests from different countries and they all shared the same views as me and my wife. We won't be back and we will discourage other people we know who intended staying at the Puente Real.

We stayed here for a week recently and absolutely loved our time here. The hotel is always so clean and tidy, staff are lovely. The room was a lovely size, shower was amazing, very powerful.I was worried about the all inclusive food as I am gluten free, but there was such a wide selection of food for all meals and a very handy label on all the food detailing ingredients so allergens are easily avoided. The pools are so lovely but very cold!Views from this hotel are so beautiful! We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay here again happily.

Great Hotel. Good sized rooms that were well maintained and clean. Excellent restaurant facilities with a very good choice of food. Friendly and helpful reception staff. If there was one improvement to be made, it would be the bar facilities. There is nothing wrong with the bar staff, who worked really hard, but the one bar can't really cope with the number of guests - as the queues every night confirmed. Also, if you like your red wine at room temperature, you'll have to pay for it as the all-inclusive is served chilled from the tap like the rose and white wines 🤦‍♂️

Paulina Paula

So we booked this hotel thru ,,on the beach,, all inclusive. The staff really nice and polite however you actually have to call to reception to asked them to send somebody to clean the room and changed the towels. There is plenty good things.Good food but nit a big choice, sauna however rude person there very unpleasant!!!Around hotel there is not a lot to do and I mean nothing. Everything is away 2 miles away.If you want to come with kids it's perfect place if you are 40+ as well but if you are young person believe me this place its nit for you! 90% of people here are 40+ and 5% it'd parents and kids and rest some teenagers coming with parents

Rita Taylor

We are currently staying in this hotel and are very happy with all aspects. The room is large with a sea view and sun on the terrace all morning. Room bedding and towels cleaned/ changed every day. Very very large comfortable bed and great shower. Food is very good with something for all tastes at each meal. Snacks at Pool bar all day are good. All staff are very pleasant from reception, cleaning, entertainment, bar and waitresses too. A very clean well kept hotel. Plenty of sun beds and towels available but outdoor pools too cold in March.

Colette O'Mahony

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It has anything you would want. We are all inclusive which was brilliant value, you can have as much snacks throughout the day as you want, as much drinks and the quality of food in the buffets is very high compared to other hotels I’ve been in. You can request specific dishes in the buffet in different areas for example pizza or pasta dishes. The food does kind of get a bit repetitive especially from lunch to dinner. The drink in the dining area isn’t great, with both wine and beer on draught. The food can be sometimes cold but nevertheless it’s still lovely , especially dinner when they have themed nights. The only downfall I have for this hotel is the limited bars. There was only one bar for nighttime which caused big queues. The hotel is quite far out from Benalmádena centre being a 45 minute walk or 10 minute taxi costing around 9.50 euros. There is a supermarket nearby which is big enough. The complex is amazing , there’s a lovely spa where you can get treatments such as hair, nails and massages done. There’s a big indoor jacuzzi , sauna , steam room and pool ( swimming hats needed). And there is 3 adult pools 2 being adults only and one near the kids pool. This complex is just amazing and I would definitely come back here again!

Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend here with my family. The twin room family suite was perfect for us, giving plenty of space for everyone to have fun. Great seas views from the balcony (our room was on the 8th floor). The swimming pools and gardens were beautifully kept, and the snack bar service means we were never hungry or thirsty. We stayed full board, and the meals were all buffet style. The extensive choices on offer at all mealtimes meant everyone found something they loved. Enjoyed live music and a flamenco dancing show in the evenings in the bar, there´s something on nearly every night and through the summer holidays they run a kids club. The location was perfect for us 5-minute walk to the beach (its at the quieter end of Fuengirola so nice and quiet in the evenings. Right next to the train station that runs from Fuengirola to Málaga, making it super easy to do a day trip to the city.Service was very friendly and attentive, especially towards the kids. Had a great time and look forward to repeating the experience.

Ideally located. Room was cleaned daily. Good variety of food. We stayed all inclusive. Small pool. Right next to the beach max 7 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Right next to Torreblanca train station. Lots of shops nearby. Really good restaurant on the beachside.

this hotel is outstanding in every way. Total unspoiled area of Fuengirola a very special place. Hotel is super clean, amazing food fantastic all inclusive best I have stayed in.Friendliest helpful staff. this hotel is in a perfect location 3 pools so close to beach. would benefit from one heated pool. The only criticism nothing to do with hotel is the airport was a horrendous experience having to que for an hour and a half carrying a baby was so bad. then we would have had to wait another hour and half for hotel transfer with Jet2 my advice get a taxi €30-40 there in 25 mins.

Alan Calkeld

Lovely place located in a fantastic location, the staff are ever so friendly and the maids keep the rooms immaculate, the food was great and drinks were a very good variety we will definitely be going again

It was an OK hotel with lovely rooms, but very average food and little selection during the day. Staff weren't particularly friendly.

Amazing holiday!! I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews on this hotel BUT I do not have one complaint, the rooms are beautiful, the food was amazing! To the point where me and my partner would rather eat at the hotel, staff were very friendly, the jumbo club staff for activities in particular were great!! The entertainment was great, the jumbo club staff member made the effort all day!! Included all ages and NEVER a dull moment! Drinks were also great, loads of choice! Everything outside was also so clean and tidy we couldn’t of enjoyed it anymore!! We will definitely be back soon!!

Lovely time very friendly very clean .Entertainment could of been better and the all inclusive bar needs to be extended holiday makers do no like the early close of the bar.very near the town slightly hilly walking but in a good location

Jarlath Dean

Staff were generally excellent, in particular the entertainment and bar staff. All inclusive drinks were v nice, and service was always extremely quick and friendly.Entertainment staff were all brilliant throughout, in particular Calvin.Receptionist was the only unwelcoming member of staff, which is quite unfortunate, considering she is by definition 'front of house'.Food was good too with a wide variety.Room was very nice, with a comfy bed. However, the only criticism was the bathroom was dated, and not entirely functional. The toilet didn't flush upon arrival, however, the staff fixed it immediately, once the problem was raised.Would definitely recommend the hotel, however, the area surrounding it wasn't overly lively at night.

Jo Pitchford

Brilliant hotel. Usual issues with sunbeds - simply not enough for size of hotel. Great air con in rooms - our room on 6th floor overlooking road was good. Powerful shower and a 10/15 min walk from choice of bars / shops. No complaints over food and drink .

Connor Hawksworth

We just finished staying here and had a great time. The rooms are big and we took our 7 month old baby. I emailed the hotel to ask if we could get a travel cot and they put one in the room before we arrived which was nice. Kettle is in the room and there is a microwave available near the bar. Our room had a bath with a removable shower so was good for baby. The only issue is you have to go up a few stairs to the restaurant and bar so needed to lift the pram up but they have lifts to get everywhere else. They even put a bottle of water safe for babies in our fridge in the room. The food options are really good not sure why people moan about it. Unless you are a really picky eater you won't struggle to find good food although some breakfast options aren't amazing but for the price I was really impressed. Never had an issue getting sunbeds with a shade. The hotel though is mainly aimed for french guests with the entertainment etc but staff speak English so don't let it put you off. The all inclusive beer is San Miguel and the co*cktails are nice. The bar staff are really friendly aswell. We were really impressed with the stay considering it was reasonably priced.

Beautiful location between Sotogrande and Manilva. Uphill from the coast, so amazing views of the coast and Gibraltar. Meals are buffet style. Lots of choice and good quality. House wine and co*cktails at reasonable prices. The restaurant staff were very helpful. The reception staff were not very welcoming as they didn't greet us and seemed preoccupied by their computer systems.

A vacation I wished didn’t come to an end. Would have been much better if we went with a car. Uber drivers couldn’t locate the resort on 3/4 different occasions. Overall, we had a nice time there.

I was in holiday with my family, travelling from UKJust few members of the staff are speaking English the rest of them only Spanish, I speak in English they reply back in them language. I was ask few times for the clean towels but need to insist to get some clean. I paid €200 secured deposit for the room and they said I will get back next day after I make check out after many attempts no one responds to phone call I give to reception. I will not recomand at all . This hotel have not beautiful view everywhere depending where you are located. Very disappointed because was first time I visited Spain

Ruty Cab9

Great buffet. Reception staff was a little but distracted. However, other staff was great. Great views. A lot of walking from rooms to restaurant.

Rundown on the inside. Apartment kitchen was totally falling apart - broken fridge, broken wine bottle opener, foot panel fell off whenever opening & closing dishwasher. Filthy in places.Beside that , it's good setup for families with many activities and events and the pool view of the sea and Gibraltar that makes it worth it.

I was looking for a quiet place during low season and far from crowds. The hotel met my expectations. The breakfast was sufficient. The sea view never failed to impress.A bus ride to Malaga centre may take up to one hour depending on traffic.

Air-conditioned room featuring a terrace with city views. Satellite TV, a minibar, a safe and free Wi-Fi. Private bathroom includes a hairdryer and a bathtub or shower. What more could one possibly need?Enjoy breakfast (7-11) on the sunny side of the building with direct view to beach and rolling waves, lunch, quick siesta drink, and dinner on the promenade between the main street and the sea, and a variety of bars opening only for the night just 50-500m from the hotel along the shoreline. Note that cafes are named as bars, and churros are only served past 16. The main street quiets down past midnight for a chance of great sleep.Fast 30min walking access from here to Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave), unique in the whole Europe region. Top tips also to see Caminito del Rey (The King's Little Pathway), refurbished for safe public access (mandatory paid tickets include insurance) to one of most known prev. dangerous walking pathways on cliff sides with spectacular views. Be super early with prebooking as shared bus trips both from Rincón de la Victoria and Malaga City sell out quickly for weeks. Amazing hotel some of the kindest and friendliest staff who really go out of their way if you need something. Our room was spotless and amazing view of the sea. Breakfast buffet was 10/10!! We asked to extend our room by a few hours due to a late night flight and they accommodated us perfectly and for a good price! Pool area is absolutely gorgeous and one of the cleanest pools I’ve ever been to. I left my sunglasses on the side of the pool and asked the next day at the reception and they were super quick to call the maintenance / cleaners and they handed me back my sunglasses within a few minutes, really going out of their way for something minor which we greatly appreciated!! Restaurant and bar are reasonably priced and lovely food and drinks, definitely recommend. So close to the sea and only a 15 minute walk to the main town. Highly recommend this hotel we were looking to book as soon as possible to come back! Refurbishment is taking place in opposite building but barely any noise and no bother to us. Thanks again!!

Terry Mac

Great Place to stay, Staff our all really helpful and friendly, right on it's own beach, prices reflect where the bar is, facing the beach. You can get cheaper, a few minutes walk away. Nerja is lovley with very fair prices as a whole. My only gripe was in the hotel, restaurant, a bit slow settling tables up and clearing tables, think that's maybe because they need a few more staff..but overall, I'd recommend staying here.

Donna Hurley

Stayed in the Riu Monica last year, and we booked it again for this year, but the management decided to only honour our booking for three days, which meant we had to stay somewhere else. We cancelled and had a full stay at the Perla Marina, so glad we did. It's just lovely, and we would definitely be going back

Actually, this is an old, but nice hotel. It is understandable that they renovate it. What I do not understand is that there is no information about the renovations beforehand. The main building is closed and there is a lot of noise, already from 8 in the morning to evening. The rooftop with chairs is dirty. The breakfast is average. Staff is nice, but there was no offer for the inconveniences. At least, they should offer discount for the services not available

Carol Roberts

The Perla Marina is a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, rooms are airy, contain a fridge (great bonus), the beds are very comfortable and the food is delicious (although could be a little hotter when kept on the buffet counter...no complaints really though). The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the whole place has a really "homely" yet upmarket feel. Ideally situated for us as we like the Torrecilla end of Nerja. We love this hotel. .

**Hotel Review: A Disappointing Return**Nine years ago, we stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience, prompting us to return for a 5-night, 6-day stay. Unfortunately, this visit under new management was deeply disappointing. Our room was a far cry from the luxury we experienced previously. The interior desperately needs an update; it felt dated and lacked the sophistication we remembered. The overall ambiance was underwhelming and failed to meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. The most troubling aspect of our stay was the rude and unprofessional behavior of the restaurant managers. On one occasion, we asked a manager if we could have lunch. Her response was curt and unhelpful; she instructed us to sit and wait for service. Despite being passed by multiple staff members, no one came to bring the menu. We left after an extended period of being ignored, all the more frustrating with a hungry child in tow.Another night, while queuing for dinner, the manager ignored us twice, choosing to address the group behind us instead. This blatant disregard for guests' order of arrival was infuriating and unprofessional. The customer service from the management team was severely lacking. Their attitude was stress-filled and unwelcoming, with no effort to make guests feel valued or comfortable. A basic level of politeness and a simple smile would go a long way in improving the guest experience. This hotel's decline in service and quality since our last stay is disheartening. The management team, particularly in the restaurant, needs significant training in customer service and professionalism. Our experience was far from the superb stay we once had, and it is unlikely we will return.

For GBP 100 a night, it provides excellent value for money. The view overlooking the courtyard and onto the horizon is very pleasing. The staff were very attentive; Christ, everyone flocked to Jesus and Nemesis. The shower jet strength was satisfactory. I found the orientation of the bar in the bedroom cupboard a little odd, I think it should be rotated by 90 degrees to be parallel with the wall. The hotel was clean. The floor tiles in the reception area are very pretty. I would definitely recommend it.

Don’t listen to the positive reviews, we work in a luxury resort and we have been travelling Spain and Portugal for 3 weeks, this is the worst 4 star hotel we’ve been to and I’ll tell you why.Concerning the reviews, most of the people that stay here are seminaries, these places are booked by their companies and they don’t pay for the stay. However for someone like us that have paid over 100€ a night, there was hair everywhere, the mirrors were all smudged, the rooms are old and seriously need a renovation, the cupboard where the fridge is sustained water damage from all the leaking. There are no plugs for chargers. The grimes in the bathroom are black. The only amenities you get is a soap and a two in one shower and shampoo. You have to pay 10€ to use the pool.We decided to get a late checkout because I wanted to sleep more from all the travelling and the reception called me and woke me up before my checkout time to tell me I was supposed to check out. This said the receptionist were lovely so mistakes happen, we did announced it late. The breakfast buffet was poor and bad quality, the coffee was brown water, it wasn’t worth 15€, this said the servers and the cooks were lovely too.The ilunion hotel still has a long way to go before being able to call itself a four star hotel again. If this was a two star (which it is in my opinion) I probably wouldn’t have said anything. And please community managers, if it is to give me an answer like when you accused the other reviewer for her having ants in her room saying it due to them bringing food in their room, please restrain yourself. We are not difficult customers, we just expected more from a four star hotel.

More staff needed, chaos at check in. Room ok but no soap or toiletries avaliable at all. Not used to having to pack these items with limits on baggage weight but understand some people still do. However, as a minimum, soap of some description needs to be available to wash hands after a bathroom break.Safe available in room but unable to use as hire charge required. Passports and valuables had to be carried with us. Facilities in a room booked need to be inclusive and not hired out individually. Client comfort will lead to good reviews and further recommendations.Lovely location.

Jake Friesen

Beautiful region of Southern Spain. This hotel is staffed with superior people. Always available to assist. The rooms are European, smaller but efficiently arranged. Baths are small, clean and in good condition.

Absolutely had an amazing stay and what a location and what views. The rooms were good a couple of "tired" issues but nothing that would be me off. The rooms were clean, we had an amazing view and nice to find a fridge in the room. The pool area is clean, plenty of sunbeds, clean toilets and good food. Only issue is the clinking of the slabs........Breakfast was what you would expect...Cold Buffet, Hot Buffet, Cereals, Breads, fruit etc....something for everyone.Hotel was busy but quiet and guests mingled well.Location is perfect for a walk into town.................Mijas is stunning.I found all staff very friendly from Reception to Cleaners. Reception were very accommodating and friendly. Its not perfect, but not far off it.....any negatives far outdo the positives.....I really cant wait to return

Naomi Watkins-Ligudzinska

We didn’t stay here. But had a drink in the pool bar and conservatory. Because I stayed here 36yrs ago when I was a child. And it’s just as I remembered with Spanish charm. The man on reception was very sweet and interested in my pictures from 36yrs ago. Pool bar staff very friendly. The views are spectacular. We will be back to stay.

Fab hotel. However, sound proofing in the room is terrible. Even being quiet, you can hear everything quite clearly from adjacent rooms. TV, conversations, ablutions etc. It's a shame because the hotel itself is excellent. Very friendly staff who speak English very well. (I'm very lucky as my wife speaks fluent Spanish). The food is ok(buffet), better in the bar. Great location, stunning actually. I would still recommend a visit, just be prepared.

Esther Schonewille

Location: the location is perfect, it is close to the center of the town with restaurants and shops. There is also a busstop nearby.Rooms: the rooms are spacious and many have a terras or balcony. The bathroom is nice and spacious too. Some of the rooms may need an update as they are a bit outdated and the rooms are very noisy as you can hear the sounds from the hallway and the neighbour room. Also sometimes there is dust to be found on for example the bed board and the lamp. The rest is clean and the housekeeping staff is friendly and will answer any questions you may have.Reception: the staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful, when there is something they will do everything they can to help you.Restaurant/bar: there is enough choice of food and the quality is good. Also the waitstaff are very friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have.Swimming pool/bar: people will lay down their towel in the early morning and not come back. There is a nice seating area where you can drink and eat something. The staff is friendly.Overall: there are many seating areas in the hotel and the overall ambiance is nice and relaxing. It is a good hotel with friendly and helpful staff.I will certainly come back!

Raju Varghese

The rooms were good and so was the hotel, in general. The decorations in the hall are excellent. However, we found that sound-proofing was not good. We could hear every cough, conversation and movement from the next room. This might have been due to the fact that there was a connecting door (which was locked, of course) and families that had adjacent+connected rooms may not have found it disturbing. The other complaint I have is that the restaurant only has buffet service. For breakfast that is now a standard but for lunch and dinner I found that a bit restricting. Further, the food seems to be tuned towards the elderly British clientele.

I stayed for 2 weeks in April. The rooms are small but clean and well-kept. Cleaned every day. Various meals for breakfast and dinner. fresh and tasty, there is also a choice for vegetarians. There are bus stops close to the hotel. I heartily recommend it

My daughter & I went to Benalmadena 3 years on the row our last time in this gorgeous place & beautiful hotel was 2019. The food at this hotel is absolutely lovely. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful we were lucky to get a room overlooking the garden right by the pond that had frogs & at night you could hear the frog's which was delightful

Bouchra jebari

Perfect location. It has a back door to access the beach by crossing the road. Our room was huge with 2 balconies and lovely view.Plenty storage, the room had like a small walking wardrobe.Buffet was varied, if you don't have any dietary requirements, there's plenty options.

Salaah Amin

Great staff, just missing a few thingsThe hotel is great with an amazing staff! I remember in particular Gloria who was trying to help me plan a trip to Granada/Seville. She gave me her fullest attention and gave me the feeling that she wants me to have a good experience. The ability to emphasis with her guests makes her incredible! The hotel is generally really clean, however I feel that there can be a bit more focus in bedrooms as for example, my remote control was full of dust. The sticky kind. Nevertheless, the maids are very friendly and greeted me every morning. The hotel has a great area for swimming and simply relaxing. The hotel is very close to the beach, roughly a 3min walk a 15min walk away from the closest station. In regards to food, it would be great if there were more vegetarian options for the hot buffet. For me, the team is what makes this hotel 4/5 as they are truly amazing!

We were upgraded to premiere room. Lovely spacious room. Only one English news channel though. Only negative point was the towels, very thin and poor quality. No problem with the food, the show cooking is a little slow though. We would come back again.

We had an upgraded room which was comfortable and had plenty of space, a sea view and corner balcony. We had a good view and could see the sea but there were buildings in between too which made it interesting. I found the bed comfortable, my friend found it too firm. They catered for me Gluten Free. The pool was a good temperature and the poolside entertainment was good. But what would really make me go back was the service, the staff were helpful, knowledgeable, polite and kind, each one going that extra mile.

Just back from this hotel, it was a very good stay.Positives -All the staff are brilliant especially the lady on the roof top Bar, she was brilliant.Rooms clean and well MaintainedCentral to everythingPool area generally clean and well maintainedBreakfast very goodDownsideAdditional charges for guests, I’ve never stayed in a 4* hotel that charges for the tea tray to be replenished, also get rid of the massive loungers at the pool area, ( there is a fee to use ) there is about 6 of them, no one used them all week and the pool area is limited for sunlight throughout times of the day, normal loungers would allow all quests more access in the area. Also deposit of 40e for beach towels for 2 isn’t an expectation of a 4* hotel, I would suggest a management review of all the silly additional fees. Thanks for a great stay though 😊

Jeff Riley

Hotel centrally located. The room was a good size, very clean and over looked the pool. Buffet breakfast was great - lots of options. Hotel staff were amazing - great customer service - my fourth time at Hotel.

Sally Luk (yamisuzu)

Very glad to have found this hotel for our brief stay in Torremolinos, a fantastic location within walking distance to many lovely restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The room was clean with lovely views over the area. Although we didn't get a chance to use the pool, the rooftop terrace bar had a nice atmosphere and staff were always helpful and friendly.

Rob Pitts

This was my first time on my own in a different country and I found the hotel very clean staff very friendly food quite amazing with so much choice and that was for breakfast and evening meal half board the rooms were big clean tidy and the staff was very amazing. The hotel is two minutes away from the town bus stop right outside the front door couldn't ask for a better hotel the walking shower and the water pressure amazingly beautiful the only one thing I would say is that the telly is only in Spanish and I didn't understand Spanish. Had a little outside balcony that I could sit on and it was just a massive Room with a fridge a complimentary bottle of family. I would recommend the hotel and I will be going back....... It had two bars one in the middle of the hotel where you go out for your swimming pool and relaxing area to get some bathing and then you had to rooftop bar which had amazing views couldn't fault it and would recommend it to anybody even with a big family stuff for amazing I must if you ever go to torremolinas in my opinion thank you all staff for all your help. I recently stayed at Alanda Hotel in Elviria and had an excellent experience. The staff provided outstanding attention, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was delightful with a variety of options. The swimming pool was a highlight, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend this hotel for its superb price-quality ratio. 100% recommended!

The swimming pool is massive and there is plenty of space around it for sun loungers, rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were brilliant. The food was nice and there was a lot of variety. My only criticism is the rooms only having 2 single beds pushed together for 3 people. Over all I would come back again as I enjoyed my stay here.

Adrian Dinita

I've been to Spain on vacation several times. In this case, we chose Costa del Sol. This hotel was great until my clothes went missing. The food is generally excellent; we had breakfast and dinner included, and there were plenty of options. The rooms are nice, and the pools are large and child-friendly. The staff is attentive and always smiling. After the first night, we had to change rooms because the one we had was noisy. After changing rooms, I notice that a pair of trousers and a t-shirt (EA7) are missing; we probably forgot them in the first room. I reported it to reception, and they stated, "Our housekeeper did not find anything in that room".When I asked how it was possible that some of my stuff had vanished from the room (expensive clothes), the receptionist gave no answer, only saying that no one goes through the rooms except housekeepers, and if they find something when someone checks out, they report it to reception for "lost and found," which was obviously not the case.Every single time I tried and ask to speak with the manager staff was keep saying that he/she was busy, unavailable, and to try later on.I will never return here and will not recommend it to my friends. So, before booking of them, keep in mind that leaving expensive items in your room is not safe.Obviously, they were taken, and the hotel is unconcerned about you. It's unbelievable that this could happen in 2024.

Cody Quick

The location is beautiful as it is on the beach and it is fairly close to shopping. The rooms are fairly average. No coffee or microwave in the rooms.During our stay the pool was always super overcrowded and a lounge chair was very hard to get. They had very loud concerts every night until 11pm.The staff seemed overworked and it is apparent that the hotel wants to charge for every possible thing (hence, no coffee in rooms). So the staff was pretty short about where you could sit in the restaurant area, how many sodas, etc. There is no complementary coffee or any other drinks anywhere in the hotel and the kitchen is locked outside of meal times. If you don't mind long lines at meal times, loud music until late, kids running everywhere, and having to pay extra for absolutely everything this is a decent place in a beautiful location. If you are looking for a more relaxing stay, this might not fit the bill.

fatima elahi

I booked this place for 5days all inclusive as my fiance birthday treat. Our room view was good we could see the sea and the pool and it was clean with daily cleaning service. So no complaints about cleaning but there are few things that could be improved;First , if you’re a sensitive person and selective about your food don’t book this hotel all inclusive option . Foods are not various and they cook every day beef and fish repetitive all day . Breakfast smells so awful, all canned foods and there’s literally no spice involved in their cooking only plain foods .Ingredients are all written in Spanish and as a foreigner guest if you don’t know Spanish, you basically don’t know 80% of the dishes what you’re eating . you could get nicer dishes around the hotel for 6-7€ . When we checked in , staff members only gave us breakfast, lunch and dinner time , they didn’t even explain about the pools closing and opening time or different facilities of the hotel, 3 days of our holiday were already spent and we didn’t even know we are eligible to ask for water in our room. The pool and bar area is mixed of families with kids every where , there’s no spot separated for adults who want to have some privacy or even a nice music in the evening by the bar to dance which is not ideal. Some areas of the pools there’s a very bad smell of toilet coming from the ditches. Don’t expect the fancy drinks from Outdoor bar by the pool in the co*cktail or champagne glasses , they pour pre made co*cktails in the paper water cups very cheap quality. There’s occasionally a music played for 10-20 minutes and the rest of day it’s only kids voices screaming around the bar .There is an inside bar which we didn’t really like. And the fancy pictures of the pool at night are just decorative, pool closes at 7 pm so …there’s a beach outside the hotel but the sunbeds and umbrellas are for the beach bars there’s no dedicated beach sunbeds to the hotel .I gave three stars to location because it’s on the sea side and when you’re bored at night , you could have a walk by the beach . But I won’t recommend the hotel specifically for the all inclusive option. You could easily have the best dishes around the hotel for cheap prices .

Ken Mc Mahon

Good hotel and service. The pool is awesome. Although be prepared to fight some grannies for a sun bed at 7am ( pool opens at 10). The hotel really need to do better here. People put towel down at 6am and arrive at 11am. Finding a sunbed is a joke. All you see is empty beds covered in towels

The rooms are very good indeed. Plenty space, good shower, a safe that you can use with your room key card, a small but adequate balcony with a sea view, a drying rack for your swimwear, comfortable beds, easy chairs, table, table and chairs on the balcony, a fridge. The pool area is great and easy access to the beach which is right there. The breakfast - wow. Fried food, fruit, vegetables, salad, cold meats, cheeses, you name it. You can eat inside or outside. They have decaffeinated coffee available too as well as a variety of non dairy milks. Superb spread.Dinner buffet is also incredible.A short walk to shops and other restaurants. The staff are super helpful.Complimentary parking right in front of the buildings.Highly recommend this hotel.

My go to place on the Costa Del Sol. Have stayed her at least 12 times. Staff are always Friendly and pleased to see us. Rooms are well equipped and as all come in the same payout you know what you are going to get. Only gripe is the air con doesn't really go as cold as I'd prefer..... but then I like sleeping in sub zero rooms. Views from Balcony are brilliant and free parking with easy access to the main roads. Also without walking distance to Fuengirola and private access to the beach from the amazing pool area. Will be back for sure !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at IVP Palace in March. We had a late check-in and appreciated the meal tray provided by very friendly staff. The hotel was clean, rooms were well appointed (we had a beautiful sea view) and restaurant offered a good variety of choice. During our stay my husband unfortunately experienced a medical issue and I cannot emphasize enough the kindness displayed by the hotel staff. Everyone was very caring and showed genuine concern as to both my husband’s and my well being. A special thank you goes to Jacqueline P. guest services, your help, friendly approach and utmost professionalism made the difference in a very stressful situation. Well done IPV!!

Nicole Curran

We just returned from an amazing week at the IPV Palace in Fuengirola. This hotel has everything, class, excellent service, good buffet-style meals if you opted for half-board . It is also located in the quiet part of Fuengirola but within walking distance of a shopping centre and a few good restaurants.I would recommend this establishment without hesitation but party people might want to go somewhere else.

Dr J B London uk

Great hotel, friendly staff, breakfast was great with plenty of choice, indoor pool and spa was amazing. Rooms were clean and decent size, great location and was a lovely walk to restaurants and shops, only downside was the outdoor pool was not heated and was to cold to swim in, plenty of sun beds. I would say it’s the best hotel in Fuengirola as it’s perfectly out of the way from the crowds and noise, will definitely return.

The hotel was on the edge of town Center but it was not far from the Center at all, only 5’ drive away or 15’ jog. It has beautiful setting with private beach. The sunset and sunrise view was amazing. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for a family of four. I can’t complain for the price.

Mainly Spain

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel, the hotel is well presented all areas are well maintained and very clean we only had bed and breakfast however we did pay to eat dinner for a couple of nights and I must say we found the breakfast to be very good, the two evening meals we had were also ok.The only negative points I would say are the sun loungers could really do with being replaced and upgraded and the WiFi is also very poor in most areas, on the point of location although we personally did not have a problem with distance you have to walk to the centre it would be a issue for anyone that is not so active, then the return from the centre back to the hotel is a bit of a lottery regarding taxis.Would I recommend this hotel yes I would but I would say do some research/ homework regarding the location beforehand.

Katarzyna Poniatowska

Unfortunately, the hotel does not meet expectations. The exterior is repainted, but the interior differs from the standards of other 4-star hotels. There is a clear need for a thorough renovation, the equipment in the kitchenettes in the rooms probably dates back to the 1980s. The food is edible, but it is difficult to say that it tastes good. However, what disappointed us the most was the swimming pool offer. It turned out that the indoor pool is not accessible to children under 16 years of age. Due to the offer of the indoor swimming pool, we decided on this holiday offer. The manager said that the children can swim in the outdoor pool. During the first week of our stay, the swimming pool was out of use: it was cleaned and the area around the pool was painted with oil paint. The hotel is recommended as family-friendly. I do not recommend.

This hotel is a wonderful location with great shared spaces - beautiful reception and lobby, gorgeous pool area (not heated in winter so too cold to go in), direct access to the beach, short walk (20mins) into Nerja along the coastal path, small but lovely spa and friendly spa. Food options were good -not too much which I liked but what was there was done well. However, it is let down overall by the rooms. Our two bed apartment was small, but mostly the issue was the kitchen/diner area was bleak -not particularly clean, no pictures on the walls, no hooks for coats or bags, not enough side tables and very dated. I don't mind dated furnishings if it's a bit more thought out with some homely touches but unfortunately it really isn't. Limited accessories in kitchen too-such as dustpan and brush, scissors, bottle opener etc. Daily cleaning was just the floor, surfaces were not cleaned. That said, we would come again as the rest of hotel and staff were amazing, location is perfect and kids loved it.

Just back from a lovely week all inclusive at Marinas de Nerja. Fantastic service from all staff from reception to bar, restaurant and room service staff, brilliant location 1 euro on local bus to Nerja Town and a lovely 20 minute walk along the beach back to hotel. Excellent food with loads of choices dailysecond visit and certainly a third soon. Thanks Marinas

The pools and location are good. Some of the areas were closed at the time (June) like the pub, and every night the bar area was next to a loud show aimed at children, so nothing to do in the hotel outside of the pools. The buffet is also not good for strict vegetarians with mixing of utensils for meat and non-meat foods.

I had a lovely time at this resort, the best part was the gardens and trees/plants surrounding that kept the place looking more natural and attractive. It would be great if the biodiversity was increased further in the resort. The pool was also fantastic

Kira M

Wonderful huge hotel near the sea with many pools, spa, gym and other services required. The rooms are very big, as well as the shower rooms with 2 showers. The food is great. I loved everything. The only thing I would prefer to add, it's a better wifi in the rooms to be able to work, when it is needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Imitating the unique location of the alhambra , this hotel will make you travel in time you to medieval Spain occupied by yhe Muslims, yhe hotel is decorated as the caliphate of Granada used to be. This hotel is unique. Just come and see it.

Dj SorinPana

All over is a nice and very huge hotel... Room size is OK... Big beds and nice sea view... Bad point was the insupportable smell coming from the bathroom over the night.... Also there are many beaches around the costal side...Also at all inclusive is not everything included and I'm referring to the drinks, Spa is not included, very expensive and very poor... (Don't waisting your money for nothing)... Before you book this hotel make sure you understand everything about the services included.Very clean rooms, they come every day and clean, arrange the beds, change the towels, etc....Not many from the stuff speaking English so is a bit difficult to understand, but they try hardly to help....The beach is small and is next to the hotel at 5-10min walk...Almuñécar town is close an nice... You can take the taxi and will cost you 10 euros to Central town or you can take the bus next to the hotel and pay just 1 euro per person.Everything is closed between 2pm and 5pm...so the town is more animated in the evening.

The marina is bang in the middle of the strip in Benidorm. It is a very lively hotel. There is music around the pool every single day . There are plenty of eating places and plenty of bars nearby and you are literally 3 mins from the beach front . If you like it lively and fun this is the place to be . We went room only but there is also a restaurant and the white star pub is connected to the hotel with entertainment and live sports . The pool is a bit smaller than some . And there were plenty of sun loungers . Overall a perfect location

gina skinner

Loved my time at Marina Hotel. The pool area is fantastic and the dj plays great music. The food and drinks are nice. Love the secret fountain. Always visit there even if not staying in the Marina. Rooms are adequate and everyone is so friendly. Its ideal position in the middle of the strip means plenty of entertainment and it’s very close to the gorgeous beach with its lovely sunsets. Couldn’t ask for more for a great holiday.

Jordan Bedford

Great hotel and atmosphere but €150 deposit per person is a joke for 3 days stay! Good music and great location however. Half of the space by the pool is took up by VIP sun loungers which u have to pay extra for and no one is ever sat on them whilst people struggle to find normal sun beds together. Overall good stay just need to change a few things IMO. :)

Amazing hotel in a perfect location, the outdoor terrace and pool was amazing big TV to watch the football and horse racing when the grand national was on. Such a good atmosphere. All the staff are very helpful. Want to do big shout out to Freddy who looked after us, very Friendly person and would make the effort to go and talk to people I seen that everyone loved him.The entertainment in night time in the white star was very good and they also have Karaoke in the day time which was busy.See you next year ☺

Stayed here 3 nights from 6th June until 9th June with my friends for my hen party. Brilliant location, fast check in and rooms clean.Only fault I have with this hotel we encountered was the rude bar man named David! Not only myself he was rude and aggressive to but also most of my friends and there was 10 of us!I felt intimidated by him and I also witnessed him being rude and aggressive to his co workers which is not nice to see!

I came from USA alone and waited for my husband and was so at home the week before he got there I didn’t want to leave. I look for these hotels EVERYWHERE I TRAVEL now. It was the best location with excellent views also. The hotel is definitely a boutique style with such elegance and beauty I give 5 STARS ON EVERYTHING! They are super professional and helpful with wonderful service. I will definitely be back!

Perfectly situated adults only hotel.Staff were pleasant and informative. Room had a view of the sea and a small balcony.Pool area nice with a snack bar open daily. We will return

We had a great stayed at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive, rooms were very cleaned. Breakfast was good, so many different options for all tastes. Pool was nice and peaceful with a small bar for nice drinks they also do snacks. The location was perfect easy access to the beach just 2 minutes walk and also had the access to the town from reception. We really had a amazing time :) thank you!

John Billett

One of the best things to note is there are two entrances - one at the top of the cliff level for easy access to the main town and shopping streets, and the other down at the beach level. Such a bonus. It's also only a 3-4 minute walk from the train station. There's also a cool rooftop dining area with great views to eat your breakfast to. Oh, and the breakfast is great.

Rusu Nicu-Razvan

The hotel doesn't havd a parking lot, but is easy to find one on thr same street. It is pretty clean and has a good location.Unfortunately, we have some problems with the bathroom door and the old furniture. And, for some reason, the towels weren't change.

Great location immediately across the street from the beach! Rooms are clean and seem appropriately appointed for the relatively moderate room rate. Included breakfast had a million choices. It was a bit confusing at first ... Don Pedro is part of a multi hotel complex which seems to include Don Pablo and Don Marco. Can't really comment on one being better than another but definitely separate reservation systems even though they share the numerous swimming pools on location. One negative, the luggage room for early arrivals/late departures was an unmanned freeforall.

heather bardsley

Excellent hotel. Room was cleaned on a daily basis. Good selection of food on the buffet.Kids entertainment team were great with my daughter. We have already booked for next year!

Michael Burkett

Overall my family had a great time, special mention to the kids entertainment team who were great with my daughter during our stay. The only negative was the noisy guests above us and the noise from the bar entertainment during the night. This was not mentioned prior to booking, i would have booked another room if this was mentioned. (Room 2242, 2nd Floor pool view)I spoke to a family who got up upgraded to a family room on the top floor due to issues, they suggested i should book a family room next time.We are looking at going back May 2025, Hopefully we can get a family room.

Ivo Kostadinov

Hotel is great, but it's management is not good. The all-inclusive is a joke: you will have to wait for anything you want to have. Snacks are in one place so pack food for the walk and wait. In the restaurants you need a waiter to get drinks, and guess if they have an incentive to prioritize you as all-inclusiveInternet only works in San Pablo. If you want to use it go there.

Ger Murphy

Excellent hotel; very friendly & helpful staff.Dining options very good. Large menu choice for both breakfast & dinner. Very good quality.Rooms are good; a little tight if sharing as twin.My room was at the rear of hotel so new view other than the car park. Not a big deal. Only slight gripe, was tbe noise every morning from 7am with rubbish collections

Fine hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, great food and plenty of it. Roof top bar and pool area is superb. Prices are very modest for a hotel if you want to buy a drink or light bite. My room had a large balcony that had a view of the mountain, spacious bathroom with a bidet. There is a seating area with kettle and tea/coffee facility but most importantly there was an under counter fridge for my own beers and wine. I can recommend this hotel no problem.

Emma Thompson

Had a wonderful week's stay at the AluaSun Lago Rojo. The hotel is really well placed with a path from the back of the hotel leading directly to the beach and many shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were all lovely and more than willing to help with any questions we had. The hotel itself was spotless and the rooms were large, bright and clean. We absolutely loved the rooftop pool and sunbathing area, the views are unbelievable! Food was great, very varied with something for everyone. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if I return to Torremolinos.

William Hill

Fantastic, friendly and spotlessly clean.Great location very near to beach and shops. Really enjoyed rooftop garden, pool and bar.Excellent facilities in hotel with great food and drink.Rooms massive, well laid out. and well fitted out. Beds very comfortable and good facilities.Could not fault this hotel in any way. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday.Best of all staff very helpful, friendly and caring. Would return in a heartbeat!

I do not recommend this hotel to any private traveler who values good food & polite service. This hotel has a potential, but in its current state - three stars hotel maximum, not four.I chose this hotel based on two criteria: (1) location should be close to certain place, (2) part of Hyatt chain. I stayed in three Alua hotels in Spain in the past three months, and this hotel is so far the worst one.Advantages of the hotel: location is great, rooms are nice, close proximity to sea promenade & airport, quiet (depends on the room), adults only (well, also misleading because adults behave way worse here :) ).Disadvantages: food, security, service. What REALLY sucks about this hotel is the service. Majority of the personnel is either very sad to greet the guests or too occupied with their phones. Exception is cleaning stuff (always greet you with the smile). The pool stuff does not care that guests reserve the loungers at 09:30 and leave until midday or later. When we had found that there was no free place available to lay near the pool, we waited like 30 min to ask the stuff to remove towels from “reserved” seats. The staff (three ppl working in the pool area) just raised shoulders and did NOTHING if even on every freaking umbrella there is a note that reserving a sun bed is not allowed, and the staff will remove the belongings! The same moment we approached the reception area with the same request and it was also ignored, except for one person who actually did his job and removed the left towels! Imagine that hotel guests approached me later after this incident and thanked me for standing up for them as they also suffer from such behavior. “We are all on the vacation, not only they”.This is an affiliated Hyatt hotel, so do not expect much here, except for “Thank you for being a member of Hyatt”.

Jacqueline Richmond

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at the Aluasun Logo Rojo. The hotel is very nice indeed. I’ll get the only negative out of the way first, on arrival the receptionist was not in the least welcoming. Our room was not ready but we only became aware of this when she offered us the key to the luggage store, with no indication of when to return. I realise the hotel information gives a check-in time, but when booking a package I assume the room will be ready. However, once we came back and were allocated our room the holiday began. The room was spacious and exactly as advertised with a sitting area, sleeping area, bathroom and balcony. There was a safe (additional cost) kettle and fridge, plenty of clothes storage. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was a good size but a wee bit dated, and a slight annoyance was the bathroom door hit the sink unit every time it was opened. We were on a B&B basis. The breakfast options were very good and we both found something to eat each day.The rooftop pool area was really lovely with a pool and hot tub area, as well as a reasonably priced bar. My main suggestion would be increasing the number of sun loungers. We were always lucky enough to get a couple but often they were the last 2.The staff were friendly and welcoming after our initial interaction. The entertainment was ok, but we didn’t see it every night. All in all we had a really great time at this hotel.

The hotel is lovely, staff are cheerful and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and fresh. There is one slightly broken cupboard door and the view not great, otherwise perfect. The buffet food is outstanding, so much choice, all fresh and perfectly laid out. A table for dinner is reserved for your stay, a great idea. Overall an excellent choice in a great location behind the Marina.

Everything about this hotel was great from checking in to checking out.the selection of food was amazing. The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. Great hotel In fab location just off the marina front. Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops etc on the door step. 20 min taxi ride from airport 21 euros. Rooms spacious and immaculate as is all of the hotel. Breakfast was good and great service. Dinner available any night you chose. Lovely patio area with entertainment and nice pool area. Cannot fault the hotel enjoyed my stay.

My first visit to the hotel and just loved it. From Reception staff on arrival who managed to change our room to ground floor which made our holiday walking straight out onto the poolside. Restaurant such a great choice of food and friendly staff especially Billy who always made you welcome each evening. Bar staff especially David friendly and professional, good entertainment each evening. Overall the hotel is a high quality and superb in every way. Highly recommend.

It is impossible to receive a better service than this brilliant hotel provides. All the Staff are happy and totally committed to making everyone feel valued. Nice hotel, good positioning next to the sea.Top things:1. Rooms ( very clean and comfy)2. Swimming pool and reception area. Not so good things:1. Food ( specially the dinner, the food not well cooked by the chef - the meat was raw in the middle even if we told him to cook it well)2. Don’t have many activities organized within the hotel or outside under the pool area.Overall our stay was 7 out of 10. Will probably look for other similarly price hotels next time.😓

Gary Thomson

Myself and 7 friends stayed here last month as we were playing golf in the area.Hotel is in a great location and only a 5/6 walk to Fish Alley where there are a load of bars and restaurants and only a further 2/3 min walk to reach the main strip of bars on the sea front.Hotel itself was lovely. Breakfast was cracking with complimentary Cava included.Would 100% stay here again

Michaela Doughty

Hotel looks modern. We stayed in the middle of April. There wasn't enough stuff to run it. Both pool bars and kitchen were closed 5 days out of 7.We booked cabana for all 7 days, it was supposed to include service but we ended up going to the hotel bar for our drinks and food due to the bars closure. Luckily there was a big kiosk right outside the hotel and we could buy ice creams, drinks there, even that one of the closed pool bars had freezer full of ice creams! (We spend quite lots of money in the outside kiosk eventually as the hotel seemed to have no need to sale anything to its hotel guests!)The last two days of our stay, they closed the little pool by our cabana and didn't inform us about it, it was apparently due to its technical issues.Pools are both not heated!!!The stuff doesn't speak much English. They speak better English in the restaurants outside the hotel. The Arrozante restaurant is open only Friday till Sunday. Otherwise the food options at the hotel bar during day are pretty limited. My husband and I have both professional hospitality background and we would never rated it 4 stars hotel, sadly. Hotel has amazing potential to deliver much more but not with the current management attitude and work ethic.Clearly the owners are satisfied with its turnover...

Richard Rafeek

2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. It is a comfortable modern hotel , situated on the seafront. It is well located for access to the centre of Fuengirola. Breakfasts were excellent. We went half board, but ate out half the time. Next time I would go bed and breakfast as Fuengirola has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff were professional and friendly. If we return to Fuengirola we would stay here again.

John Imbault

I went for a drink at the bar and there is no waiter. Its self-serve customers are waiting in line to get drinks with one bartender. The area is nice, they have outdoor seating, Everything is high-quality. everything is very clean, but there’s a lack of service.

upon arrival, i found multiple insects in the bathroom crawling in the sink and on the floor. concerned about the cleanliness, i called the receptionist to request a room change. a manager came to inspect the situation and kindly explained that the insects came from outside and are harmless. he offered to have the housecleaner deep clean the room instead of changing it, which was not satisfactory. as a guest, i expect a standard of cleanliness and comfort, and finding multiple insects in my room failed to meet those expectations. i found the manager's overall demeanour dismissive as he downplayed the incident as a normal occurrence.the room lacks soundproofing, you can hear everything as if you’re present in another person’s conversation. i could hear arguments from the room next to me and even just the sound of footsteps walking past my door. it quickly became irritating as the noise grew and the groups staying on the floor became bigger.some of the receptionists were kind, which contributed to a more positive experience. breakfast had a variety of options that i found okay.overall, i would not recommend this hotel to others based on what i encountered. i hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to prevent future guests from having similar experiences.

Jose Valencia

Update: One of the front desk staff (Rocio) reached out to apologize after seeing the initial review. We had a tough/good conversation about the situation and she showed a lot of empathy and compassion, which we truly appreciate - even if she had nothing to do with the issue, she seemed very sincere. We decided to change our rating accordingly. We are willing to give this place another try someday and hope this serves as a reminder to all about the importance of being mindful of unconscious bias and discrimination.——— Original Review Below ———Absolutely appalled by this hotel. I was avoided during check-in, as they prioritized another guest in line. At first I saw it as a minor inconvenience/coincidence - or so I thought. It happened to me over and over, where a total of 3 guests, were checked in before me despite them standing behind me.The only reason I can see would be race, and I am disgusted. I brought it up to the staff member and he apologized, but the damage was done.Upon entering the room (mind you I booked a "superior" room), the AC was not working. I called the front desk, and they blamed me for leaving the window open (I just walked in for the first time?).Some additional issues:Room floors were sandy upon entering. You can hear through doors/walls making it tough to sleep at night.Do yourself a favor, book elsewhere. They keep getting the same feedback about cleanliness and noise, but do absolutely nothing clearly. I’m sure I’ll get the same response saying they’ll share this with their team.

Michelle Kavanagh

Just back from a week in Barceló Marbella. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Paula on reception and the other receptionist who has lived in Swords, Ireland. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The breakfast room is bright and food was replenished quickly My room was great with a very big comfortable bed and soft pillows. Accommodation staff were so nice and the hotel is spotless. I will be back when I visit Marbella again. Great hotel, would recommend !

Romina Roshan

We arrived at the hotel and initially enjoyed everything, but as the evening approached, issues arose. The WiFi wasn't functioning, the complimentary water bottle provided was very small, and to purchase a 1.5-liter bottle, we had to pay 4 euros. Additionally, the lighting in the room was quite dim. We still have a few more days here, but these were our experiences on the first day alone!!! Not to mention, the refrigerator is completely empty. I suggest that the manager try a few hotels at the same level in Turkey and Dubai to see the difference.

Eva Horvathova

They charge 15 euro a day for parking, which was not communicated to us until after we arrived. The pool is only open from 11am.Rooms are clean, but dated. Our hair dryer was broken, the air conditioning was very weak so we were sweltering hot and couldn't sleep even with it going full blast.Hotel is frequented by a lot of young people, we had teenagers running down the halls knocking on every door, and Hotel wouldn't do anything about it.Wouldn't recommend staying here.

Visiting Playa Granada for the first time and having a wonderful family time here. Seaside location is perfect, facilities are lovely (including anything you need for active holiday), territory is beautifully landscaped and maintained, lots of green spaces and blooming flowers and trees. Personnel of the resort are very friendly and ready to go an extra mile, if you ask for anything. Food is nice, and although there is only one restaurant, there is plenty of choice, including daily bbq’s. Animation team entertains both kids and adults with sports games and fun competitions, and the evening shows are great addition to the day too. Thanks everyone at Playa Granada for a lovely holiday.

Very uninclusive for tourists. Everyone speaks Spanish at activities and in the bars they only answer in Spanish. You feel very excluded!!! Great Resort in beautiful surroundings. Large nice rooms with OK beds. Nice pool area with absolutely stunning views of the sea. The food is otherwise very good. Missing some tables by the sunbeds.

Great place to stay to relax and if you want to go cycling near by. Had a room with sea view, was lovely. Staff are great, all very friendly and professional. Great location, beach, sea, mountains. Food is decent, good range, always something you are happy to eat.

We stayed one night in Alhambra room (impressive superior double sea side view). Only thing i felt was missing from the room was coffee machine. Room was large, comfortable and well appointed.Spa was lovely, cost extra €20 each for 90 mins, but worth itParking also costs extraFood...it kept us alive, but wasn't particularly impressive (the ice cream is delightful tho)Drinks are extra but they do have very cheap wines and beer on tap for freeCoffee..,make sure you use the coffee machine with the beans on the top. Will we go back? Yes!

Just returned from a lovely stay here. We had a complimentary upgrade to our room with a beautiful view. It’s in a superb location and you can stroll to lots of shops, bars, restaurants and the Marina. We stayed B&B and we couldn’t fault the food. Hot and plentiful with lots of choice. It’s clean and modern and no sun bed reserving. We did note a couple of people did do that but received a polite note to inform them not to so everyone had the choice when to use the beds without the war for a spot. It’s modern and clean and the service is very good. We would return, no problem. The bar in the 8th floor is worth a visit. Food and drinks to purchase are on the more expensive side but it’s hotel prices rather than a local bar. Rooms were always cleaned and comfy beds including the sofa bed.

Clare McCool

Beautiful hotel, close to Marina, direct access to the beach, staff were just lovely every one of them. Food was decent, which is good for me as I'm very fussy. Could be doing with moving the sinks into the bathroom and adding in drawers. Very central, bus stop outside hotel and can get easily around to other towns.

This is our last night at this Hotel. We have had a lovely stay. Front sea view is worth the extra cost. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. ESTHER in the restaurant is super nice. She was very helpful. Reception staff were always helpful. Our room cleaner was also friendly and efficient. We were disappointed there weren't any English TV programme. The first half of our holiday we didn't have any air con but when it came on was good and quite. I would recommend this hotel.

Staying here at the moment so best to review while thoughts are fresh.Location superb, just minutes from the promenade & marina and lots of bars for later at night.Rooms are very clean and spacious, we opted for late evening sun balcony which catches the sun from mid afternoon until sun down.Breakfast is really good with lots of choice for everyone, dinner could be better if I'm honest as found that most meats were overcooked and tough probably due to the hot plates being set too high.Staff are super attentive and friendly.Common areas are spotless and not a problem getting a sunbed throughout the day.Sky bar is a bonus for late afternoon/early evening watching the boats ,cayaks etc. making their way to and from the marina. Will come back to this hotel as overall very pleased with the whole package it offers compared to others we have stayed in Benalmádena.

Great place to stay. Loads of lovely clean rooms and friendly staff. It's pretty massive, but it wasn't full, so it felt like there was plenty of room. I can imagine it being a bit much when it's rammed full in high summer. The food was pretty good, and the all-inclusive package seemed worth it to me, with a few trips out to nearby towns for a proper Spanish meal out.The kids' club kept the kids happy and gave parents a chance to chill and top up the sunburn. All in all, a great holiday

We stayed for 2 extremely nice weeks in one of the awesome bungalows (for 6 people) the hotel has. We participated in a lot of the offered activities / animation for the adults and kids and the whole staff was always very nice, polite and encouraging! The food was amazing and throughout our stay of high quality. The hotel is next to the beach but otherwise a little off and it is also a little difficult to get anywhere without a car (public transport is quite bad in this area) but this is our only criticism. Our special thanks go to Ramon (waiter) and Elena (animator) who were extraordinarily friendly and helpful!

Excellent customer service. Always a friendly attitude, accompanied by a smile. In general all the hotel staff EXCELLENT but I want to highlight the entertainment team who were always encouraging to participate in activities for children and adults. The shows at night always prepared to entertain and please the public.Helena my favorite, full of energy, enthusiasm and excellent personalized attention to the guests.Congratulations and thank you for making my vacation an unforgettable time.I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!

We have all absolutely loved our stay here so much. So many of the staff go the extra mile. Our daughter loved the kids club, which is amazing and the staff there are all so lovely. Children cannot be bored here. The reception manager was very helpful and one of the chefs went out of his way to make us a vegan pasta dish with vegan pesto which was delicious. The hotel is beautiful with excellent facilities. The bar and restaurant staff are fab too. Loved the lady in the snack/gift shop too, who was so sweet with our daughter. We would definitely come back here again in a heart beat and can't wait to do so. 😀 😊

This is a one star review purely based on a terrible experience on our last day. Prior to this it was going to be a 4/5 star review. The good:Rooms were a good size and clean. The beds were comfy.Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.Restaurant food, a great selection and very tasty.Poolside entertainment was good, the staff members going around to invite you to play volleyball etc were very friendly and funny. The bad:We were checking out at 12 noon but weren't getting picked up until 14:30. We asked at reception if we could still have lunch at 1 as part of our all inclusive. He said normally once the bands are handed back at 12 you don't get access to all inclusive, but he'd give our room number to the restaurant and it would be OK. This was great to hear and would have understood if he'd said it wasn't possible. Upon arriving at the restaurant the lady greeting us asked for our room number then said we weren't on the list, we the other one explained and she the said it was OK to go in. We got some food and a waiter came over to ask if we wanted drinks the asked cash/card? We explained the situation to him and he was a bit rude and stated he was going to get the restaurant manager. At this point we're thinking great, let's get this resolved, but he came over and was even ruder / louder. For at least 5 minutes he was bluntly shouting that we pay, causing a big scene which had everyone staring over. He kept repeating the usual process, which we understood, but he didn't understand that if two other members of staff have said differently, it doesn't matter what the official process is,but he would not accept it. His name was Victor and due to our interaction with him, would never go back there. However, most of you aren't likely to be in that scenario and almost everything else was great, so don't let that out you off :).

There’s a lot to love about this hotel. Some might not like the location, but I think it’s perfect. It’s away from the crowds on a great stretch of beach. The hotel is airy and immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and professional without being gushy. On the negative side, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. That’s a biggie for me and I probably wouldn’t stay here again because of them. Even though they brought me a topper, I’ve woke to back pain three days running. Another issue is the housekeeping which is lackluster at best. The final issue is the placement of the toilet in the bathroom. For someone tall or large, it’s extremely tight and uncomfortable. The layout wasn’t thought out very well.

Booked a stay in this hotel in premium room. On arrival to the room there was a massive 7 cm co*ckroach in the room. I have never seen insect this big. Disgusting. We did not get any compensation neither. Big disappointment for management. Calling my husband a liar in front of other guests.Checked out next day. Hotel is absolutely rammed with people. No sun lounger was free by the main pool. As premium guests we should be able to go to premium pool at the roof top but as with baby we could not go there. Unfortunately this information is not clearly available on booking website until you really search for it and we were really unpleasantly surprised. They did not offer anything like reserved loungers by the main pool instead.Breakfast was okay. Nothing special.Overall hotel is okay. Positioned by busy promenade from one side and busy not very nice shopping street from the other side. It’s just too busy to enjoy.

Fabulous location, great rooms (particularly like the option to have open plan or close off sections). The food was a really good standard. Staff were efficient/helpful and polite. The pool area looks over the beach and sea which is gorgeous. But, really disappointed with the sunbed situation. It was really difficult to get a sunbed by the pool. People had left towels and belongings on beds all afternoon despite not using them. Not really the fault of the hotel - British holidays makers are so selfish. Should just remove the belongings if the beds are not occupied. Also, people saving beds for small children that were in the pool all day. Really spoils the experience for other guests.

Greg Barnes

€250 euros per night to not get ANY sleep. Security guard did his best to try and stop the 4.00am party but it was a tall order. Supervisor Alex persuaded us to stay in a new room but really we should have left. Resort Manager Eleyna refused any financial recompense despite asking us what we would be happy to accept. Breakfast is decent. Rooms are spacious but the place really struggles when it’s close to capacity. Won’t be using our points or use this group again I’m afraid. Read other reviews.

Amazing hotel - extremely family friendly. No complaints at all. JC at the pool bar has been absolutely great since our 1st day here. We will definitely be coming back here, very convenient hotel with our 20 month old toddler.

We've been to a few H10 hotels, and this was as good as the rest. The rooms were well decorated and so fresh and clean. The food was excellent. We were half board and ate most of our lunches there too in their terrace restaurant, as the food choice there was excellent and it was waiter service too. We checked out early morning so they were kind enough to make us both a picnic basket , which as a really nice touch. We both enjoyed the holiday experience and we would go back there again.

Had a wonderful week at this Hotel. The rooms were clean and well located with great sea views. We had All Inclusive, which helped with the cost and meant we always had access to grub or a drink. It was also handy as the Hotel isn’t that close to external restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are fairly limited, but well tended and there was generally always a sunbed if you wanted one. Estepona old town is a fantastic place full of interesting streets, wonderfully decorated with beautiful flowers. I was so impressed with the colourful flower beds that line most of the main roads. This hotel is perfectly positioned if you want to hire a car and drive to Cordoba, Seville and Ronda.

This hotel didn't do it for my wife and myself I'm afraid. Certainly clean and tidy. Our room was perfectly acceptable but our bathroom was outdated. The shower / bath was dangerously slippery and although we asked for a bath mat on two occasions we didn't get one. What was really annoying were the drinks and snacks. We arrived mid-afternoon after a long days travel. With that we went to the bar (after sitting for close to 15 minutes) and ordered two toasted sandwiches. BOTH came out stone cold yet burnt to a crisp and you could see where they'd scraped the toast to try and clean up the appearance. As we'd only been in the hotel 30 minutes we were reluctant to complain already! Also, really, REALLY annoying that you can't buy a bottle of water. Ask for water in the restaurant and you get server an open top glass bottle and charged €2.75 - even if you only want a drop. I'd be sure any you don't drink is topped up and sold to the next person! Also, we were told by the barman (Jesus) that the ONLY gin and tonic costs €10.5 "Whatever the size" he said! Contrary to what the Spanish believe about us Brits we don't ALL want huge drinks - a normal G&T at a reasonable price would have been fine.On the more positive side the pool was good with plenty of sunbeds.

This property is aesthetically pretty but lack luster in many other areas. To start with the good: The front desk personnel were great and give a great impression service wise for the hotel. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The two host and two cooks we encountered in the buffet restaurant were also great. The activities gentlemen were also hospitable. The not so great: Several members of the poolside staff seemed put off whenever asking for something. The food at the poolside restaurant was overall lackluster with minimal flavor and poor presentation. At the buffet restaurant, breakfast is subpar. As a whole the drinks on property were not great. We had the all inclusive option and were told you couldn’t get any co*cktails at the poolside bar (only wine, beer, and single ingredient mixed drinks like a rum & co*ke) therefore you had to walk to the lobby bar upstairs (which required you to get dress as they require a shirt and bottoms to order). There is no poolside or beachside service. The hours of operation for the food and beverage outlets are inconvenient…. Especially if you are use to Spaniard dining hours. Room service food was also bland. Something I’d also note is this hotel seems to appeal more towards an older crowd ….. at least 85% of the other guest we saw were above 60.If you are looking for somewhere with a calm atmosphere, where you can just chill by a pool and not to worried about having good F&B options, the convenience of service in outdoor areas or true all inclusive experience….then this place is fine. If you are looking for a proper all inclusive atmosphere I would not recommend this hotel. If you are going to stay, don’t waste your money on the all inclusive…. Grab yourself some wine and snacks before you arrive and you won’t be missing out on much.

Lovely well presented hotel. Friendly helpful staff. High level of cleanliness. Nice outside areas. Room spacious with amazing sea view. Food good quality and good variety.

Hotel just behind the promenade. Junior suite with kitchen area, fridge and microwave and balcony facing pool and partial sea view. Excellent variety of food beautifully presented. Made me want to try everything. Staff friendly and helpful, room always kept clean. Pool set in a garden type area. Handy lift from G/F to top, leaving a short walk into town.

Kim Spanjaart

This hotel was okay but not a 4-star hotel. The photos of the pool and hotel make it seem MUCH nicer than it is. The pool is very small and very very cold. The room was big and roomy, but not very clean. Our sheets were not clean, there were still mascara stains of the previous guest. They also weren’t changed during our week long stay, and we had to sleep in sand and sweat. It smelled mildewy and moldy. The AC smells like it not well maintained and on the lowest setting still blows really hard. Luckily we didn’t really need it. Our balcony door did not lock, we were on the third floor so didn’t feel unsafe but doors should be able to lock. Gym was okay but not well equipped. Towels were refreshed every day. Breakfast was nice. Staff didn’t ask us about our stay when checking out.

Tyrone McClay

My go to hotel in Torremolinos. We are a family of 3 and we opt for the junior suite with pool view and it fits our needs perfectly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located with close proximity to the beach and it also has an elevator in the rear for access to city center. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet is very good with a great selection.

Patrick Nutman

Rooms were large enough for two of us. We also had a balcony with a view of the beach. The shower was awesome, and the beds were very comfortable. Disabled access was very good .Buffet breakfast, very good selection. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Beach was less than 5 minutes from the hotel, along with a good selection of restaurants.

Lavinia Dutton

This was my second visit to this hotel as my first visit was so good. Exceptional staff, lovely spacious rooms and food choices were tremendous for the evening meal. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean and fresh. Convenient location, close to town and the beach.I will definitely go there again

Just came back from a week stay with my young family. Hotel is amazing, rooms are modern and clean-maids done a great job every single day. Pool areas and grounds are amazing. Food is good. Location is good, around a 30 minute walk along the promenade to the main centre, 30 second walk to the beach.Small supermarket 2 minute walk which was handy as there isn’t many others around that area.Kids disco was good, started at around 9:15.Staff are great and friendly and none stop.Only negatives we found was the birds in the dining room, birds didn’t bother me but the bird droppings on the seats which ended up on my new shorts did!Could have done with some free coffee/tea machines dotted about for all inclusive, along with free small ice creams at the pool bars etc would have been great for the kids within the all inclusive. A late snack bar would have been great too.Apart from these few negatives we had a great stay wind would highly recommend it!

I am absolutely thrilled with this hotel. it's the second time we come with our family because everything is perfect. It's clean, beautiful, the food is AMAZING, the selection is incredible and everything is delicious. The staff tops everything👌🏻 friendly, beautiful, authentic and professional. They are so motivated It feels like they are doing their hobby and not working. an absolute recommendation. best hotel in malaga. Good shows, activity and entertainment !!A big thank you to the entire staff, from the chambermaids to the chefs in the kitchen service and entertainers, everyone!

Had a lovely 4 days here in May. Staff were very professional and entertainment team were brilliant. Rooms building and pool well kept and clean. 3 beaches across the road and a short train ride into Torremolinos. Would definitely recommend

Amazing hotel 💪 Everything from great Service, kind staff and amazing food. I can definitely recommend this hotel and their all inclusive offer.Remember to try the kids club, it's really amazing.

Ash “Ashm-p”

Currently on holiday and can not recommend enough! The rooms are lovely, clean and comfy. We have a lovely balcony with sea view (upgraded on arrival). Reception staff lovely and helpful! The pool is glorious! Lots of children having fun, chilled but not over imposing, plenty space for us to chill in the pool too. Loungers are busy and could do with a couple more parasoles but there are a lot of you get the right bed. The pool bar is convenient, fast service and friendly! Especially Cynthia! The massage ladies are amazing! Had a fantastic back, neck and shoulder massage that dealt with some bad knots - I’ll be back for another! Didn’t catch her name but blonde lady just perfect.Breakfast is good variety, fresh! No complaints at all! Would recommend!

Stay superior class room! This hotel has very good-super kind staff and a fantastic view of the sea, but that's not enough for a 4-star hotel! the rooms are very run down, hotel focuses on the outside but forgot what's inside, overall a simple place, more a 3-star hotel definitely not 4 stars, the bar makes good co*cktails, the hotel is clean with a good vibe it's time for the owner open his wallet!

I’m just finishing my holiday here. Hotel is in good location, staff lovely, same food everyday and not hot. Coffee machines only work at breakfast how convenient for them so they can sale you coffee after lunch or dinner. Also the most weird thing is it’s the first hotel in the world I have been to that doesn’t give you water during meals. They are after your money left weight and centre. We were lucky to change my booking from all inclusive to half board which was excellent idea as I got to eat good hot food in the beach restaurant! I couldn’t be proud of my self! I’ll encourage everyone here to go half board as you get better food along the beach restaurant just outside the hotel and it’s also cheaper than what you will be paying to get same cold chorizos. I loved this hotel right on the beach! The hotel was spotless, my room was very comfortable with a sea view. The buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had, overlooking the pool and beach, and was a bargain at 11 euros. There are several lobby vending machines with a variety of snacks and beverages. I had to leave early the 2nd morning, and after telling them the night before, the next morning they showed me to a dining room off the lobby where a delicious cold breakfast was laid out waiting for me. The hotel is adjacent to a beautiful promenade along the beach, with benches and lights. It is not far from the airport, so a good place to stay for easy transport. They do not offer airport shuttle, but will call you a taxi.

Teri Campion

Terrible resort! Do not stay here. I had dirty panties in my room when I checked in. Not a huge deal -just threw them out. From there it has been downhill. I restaurant which serves the same food every day. Often what tou saw at dinner is on the buffet in the morning. Coffee is considered an extra item in the evening and must be purchased from the bar. 🤔. This hotel is a complete cash grab. I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone Oh, and beds are hard as rocks as are the pillows.

Jason Mammen

We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected from a 4-star hotel. The bedroom was in a very poor state. The air conditioning unit blew out dust within the first two minutes of use. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the shower was barely functional with a weak flow from a tiny shower head. Moreover, the room had a persistent moldy smell and was unclean and worn out.Excluding the foyer, which looked ok, the overall condition of the hotel was very rundown. The coffee and breakfast were subpar, failing to meet basic expectations. It’s hard to believe this hotel still maintains a 4-star rating. It might have been deserving of such a rating 30 years ago, but it certainly isn’t in 2024. At best, it should be rated as a 2-star hotel given its current state. I really hope management takes note of these issues and makes the necessary improvements esp as the location to the airport is good.I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

We have stayed at the Pez Espada on many occasions now, most recently last month for 4 nightsThey have made a few small differences, one to the dining area, which seems to work better. One thing we did notice in our rooms was that the TV doesn't have a English channel which they have in the past, not that we want to watch TV while we are away but it would be nice just to have to catch up maybe with news back home. Thank you

I love this hotel! Fifties chic.Staff are professional and friendly. The hotel is spotless thanks to the nonstop cleaning schedule. Each room I gave stayed in has been comfortable with a sea view. The reception area always smells nice, and now you can purchase the same room fragrance. One big request/ suggestion is for a pot plant or something be placed at the corners of the parasol bases at the Odina bar. I have seen many people trip or stub their toes on the wide base unit. The views are too good to look at rather than where they are walking.😎

Just back from a four night break with friends to celebrate my birthday. This is a great hotel the rooms and public areas are spotless the staff work very hard. The reception staff are very friendly and the staff in the restaurant are excellent. The food was very good always a good choice. They gave me a bottle of Cava and cake for my birthday it was such a lovely suprise. The only downside was the pool was closed on the last two days of our holiday but can't blame hotel for that as there was a drought and the sea is just across the road so no problem. We would definitely choose this hotel if we return to torremolinos

C Snosox

Spotless and an ideal location. That is where the positives end. Dated in decor and entertainment. Food average ar best. Reception staff not interested in the customer. No reason for us to return

Love the location, very close to the airport but can access to downtown using metro. The metro stop, Puerta Blanca, is only 2 blocks away, super convenient! We decided to stay in on new year’s eve and enjoyed the quietness. The food at the restaurant is great and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also great. Oh one more thing, love the fact that they have self-serve laundry on-site, the new year day was out laundry day 🤣🤣

Hunter Lee Logan

Clean and comfortable, but for the price I’d expect free breakfast, not an extra £23 charge! Room service was surprisingly more fairly priced and very good — the chicken club was incredible. The location is very convenient to the airport and just a short walk to bus stops

Diamond member here. The bad:1- I could not get additional water during my stay.2- they did not allow my family and I to turn off the Heating to turn on the AC for cooling.3- customer is always right when they are paying. The good:1- little bags with a razor, toiletries, etc.2- breakfast3- location4- service (politeness)

Great deal, great Hotel, especially the staff, particularly Miss Gema from the front desk, she's a pearl, a gem, and her colleagues are also fantastic. The breakfast in the hotel is always superb, the Spanish cheese and ham, everything is great, the manager is a great person.

Marcelo Abelenda

This is at least our fourth time staying here (Guillermo Garcia and myself) The location is great if you have a car, but if not, public transport is nearby. Hotel very close to the airport. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Most important, the restaurant staff is the best, Michel, Vanessa, Antonio, Garcia, Dani are super attentive and friendly. Dinner dishes are tasty and good breakfast, too. Only suggestion for improvement is updating the hallway decor (walls, lights, and carpet)

Don’t touch the thermostat! Our room is 26 degrees and only pushes out heat! Our neighbors said their room is 31! No customer support to call on hotel phone or on mobile. Went to front desk to wait in line for 30 minutes only to be told to open up my door to cool it down. He said they don’t have aircon and can’t cool all the rooms. No other help. There are no signs saying the thermostat doesn’t cool. There is clearly a snowflake on it indicating it is cooling but it’s pushing heat. What do they do in the summer? I won’t stay here again.

Would have been a five star review, however we had big issues with the house keeping. Twice they left our door open so anyone could walk into our hotel room. Be sure to use the safe so you don’t lose any valuables. Very worrying.

We have just got back from a week at the Sol Torremolinos Don Marco and here’s my review on the good, bad, and helpful tips.Arrival:Nice and easy, front desk is easy to find and there’s a luggage room where you’re given a key if the room isn’t ready for you yet. At this point you don’t get any information about facilities etc. so you’re going to have to do your research beforehand or find it out as you go.Pools:There are 7 outdoor swimming pools with 1/2 of these being small and for young children. Also two hot tub jacuzzis. The great thing about the pools is the fact there are so many, you can do a different one each day. Yes they are small, but we didn’t see an issue with this as they were never too busy (we went in the school holidays in July/August). One thing I LOVED about the pools were the ‘towel police’. If you leave your sun lounger unattended for any point of time, you’ll get a note pegged into your towel stating if you aren’t back in 1 hour 15 minutes, your items will be deemed lost, and taken to the pool club house. Yes you might be just getting a drink and then notice you have a note, but it’s really not an issue as it’s designed for those people who ‘reserve’ a lounger and then leave it for hours unattended. The pool staff will take the stuff away too, we saw this multiple times but we thought this initiative was fantastic, and because of this, out of the 7 days, there was only one where we couldn’t get a lounger immediately, but we found one after 30 minutes. A couple of the pools water is rather salty and it’s worth mentioning although there are 2 pools which are classed as adult only as there’s no lifeguards, nobody checks these during the day so children will be in there although it’s less often.3 Hotels:It says there’s 3 hotels and there are. To be honest though, it’s as though it’s one massive hotel so don’t be out of that the Don Marco has no restaurant, the other two are close and you get a sense that it’s one huge hotel not 3 individual ones. It all looks lovely too!Tips:- download Uber before you go and have you passport number to hand (required by Spanish law). It’s so easy to use and better than finding taxis. We used Uber to go to Aqualand, the crocodile park, the marina and many more places and weren’t charged over €15.- Make the most of the self service bar and food.- Food times are: breakfast 8-11, lunch 13:30-15:30, dinner 19:00-22:00. Try both restaurants, one is much bigger but therefore much busier. We liked the small one for breakfast and the big one for dinner.- Take some shoes comfortable for walking as the walks by the beach and to the old town are lovely no matter the time of day.- It’s hot and parasols sometimes don’t always shade you so be wary of that.- Try all the pools!Overall, we would stay here again.

Muji

Lovely hotel. Room was good, service was very polite. Long qeues at check in though so could do with more staff/computers at reception.Breakfast was ok, nothing special in my opinion and same for dinner. Was just heavily overcrowded and not a pleasent. But my overall experience was good at the hotel!

Had an amazing week with my daughter.Hotel itself is lovely, buses and taxis in easy reach.Staff all really friendly, chatty and v hard working. We had b&b n it was nice to have a warm breakfast.Would 100% stay here again. Its mainly aimed at young kids but my 13 yr old said she loved it.

Natalia Oleksy

Great hotel with loads to offer and in a fantastic location. Food is nice too!We really enjoyed our stay there. The only thing I was missing was a kettle and some cups/glasses in the room. See you again soon.

Amanda McPheely

We stayed for 3 nights 2 adults, 1 8 year old and had a lovely time. The hotel is clean and tidy but could do with a refresh. We had a room on the 10th floor with a huge balcony on the roof of the hotel which was really nice. The pool areas, and slides were great. The location was also good next to the beach and lots of nice restaurants close by. The food and drinks were okay, we were happy with what we got for our money. Will definitely return

Patty Blue

The staff really makes the stay. They are so friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. We had a lovely holiday, everything was kept clean and the food was good. The pools were also very clean and is great for children. Location is perfect too, literally a stone throw from the beach and the public transport makes for easy exploring. The only thing that would make this even better is if the rooms had an upgrade, they are kept very clean but are overall a little outdated, a little modernisation would just be great and perhaps better soundproofing.Would definitely return and recommend.

Tony Prentice

Great hotel for families, brilliant pool area with a huge kids pool, lots of slides up the back and a smaller normal pool down the front, food was not bad and a good selection, rooms were good sized only downside is you can hear everyone and everything very poorly insulated and hard to sleep. The staff were very friendly and kind, I would definetly come back. Location is great too just 2 minutes from the beach.

Lovely hotel next to Málaga train station. Stayed here for 2 nights in February. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived early for our room. Rooms and bar areas were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and had a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, omelettes and drinks. Even some bubbly for a morning mimosa. Would stay here again

Raju Varghese

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. All the facilities I needed were there. The rooms were of a good size; the bathroom was nice. From our balcony we could see the sea in the distance. The hotel is located right next to the train station. It is a 20-25 minute walk from the center of the city. Breakfast was excellent.

DHS

They allowed us to check in early and we really appreciated that after traveling. They also gave us a great room near the beautiful, sunny rooftop terrace which we enjoyed immensely. The staff was terrific-from the front desk personnel to the woman who guided us to the closest beach. They printed off our train tickets and made sure we took them with us. The hotel also has a very nice bar and outdoor area on the main floor. I highly recommend this hotel and its convenience connected to the train station and mall next door.

Suki Ming

Hotel is literally attached to the train station so very convenient in that respect. The hotel itself was good and the rooms were decent, bed was comfy. It’s quite a walk to the historic city part of Malaga but there were plenty of taxis and Ubers. The only complaint was that the frozen margarita I had by the rooftop bar was awful (just tasted like water) and the barman was only interested in young attractive women so the service if you’re a bit older or a man wasn’t good by the bar. The check in people were lovely though.

Kerrie Walsh

Wow! So glad we chose here. Stayed for a night before and after a villa break for my sisters wedding. On the final night our flight time the next day was very late but we were able to get extend our room til 6pm for a cost - so worth it as it gave us the full day exploring Malaga and a cool shower at the end. All staff very friendly and helpful. Bar area very relaxing and location is amazing. There’s even a little exit direct to train station which has lots of good shops and food. A great way to spend the last few hours before heading back to airport. We will definitely looking up the other Barcelo locations to stay in future too!

Amazing experience! Staff are all so nice, rooms are so clean, love everything about this place! Gabriel AKA chocolate was so much fun, happy, always smiling and just all round amazing to be around!Love from Maddi❤️

Jorn & Debby Jansen

I know Iberostar is good but this hotel and staff is amazing! Everyone is friendly and helpful, no question is too much. In other hotels they change the bed according to their program, this hotel gives a card to lay down on the bed of you want it changed. This is really good service! The food is great, they have live cooking every meal. When you don’t have all inclusive, you will also have fresh water so you don’t have to buy bottles. The animation, wow. They are amazing. They eat batteries for breakfast I think. Everything they do is with good energy and always a smile. So a big shout out to the animation team. Denise, Fran, Angela and all the other Adam’s family people (this show is great to watch! I recommend!): thank you so much. This was my first solo holiday and you have included me in everything. You feel like a big family and I loved every second. I will come back with my family. Muchos gracias! Debby

A good hotel but a little tired. Annoyingly part of the IHG chain but not yet awarding points for staying, which was the main reason we booked.Food was OK, but very repetitive. Also, labelling was VERY poor - many dishes were unlabelled or incorrectly labelled with limited or no allergen information.Rooms were really good although dated. No coffee or tea provision, but I did like the complimentary water fountains and refillable carafe. Bathroom was good but amenities were quite sparse.Service on the whole was ok, but especially at the bar was very brusque. The beach attached is not owned by the hotel and you have to pay €6 for a lounger!

Anthony Schmidt

A highlight of our family trip. With two under 4, it's hard to find the right balance of amenities for adults and kids, but this place hits a home run! There's a fun baby pool and playground for the youngest and an awesome water playground with three water slides for the older kids 3 and up. The pool is gigantic and there's even an indoor pool. Unfortunately the smaller indoor pool isn't heated and in April, all the water was frigid cold so no one lasted long in the water. But with a purchase of the all-inclusive package, we had plenty of fun poolside and attending the nightly entertainment. Kids were allowed to watch the musicians, magicians, comedians, and even the casino nights. We had a wonderful time and will be returning during future visits to the area.

Sara Magalhaes

We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and had a fantastic experience! The kid club and monitors are wonderful and dynamic. A Big Thank you to Carlos, Alex and Fran that treated our daughter with so much kindness and beyond expectations! Hope to see you soon

The hotel is in a really lovely location, on a man made beach. Food is good, and drinks are nice. You have to pay more to drink in the Nix Bar, even on all inclusive, and by the pool you are only given tiny plastic cups despite half board and day guests being given much bigger ones. The pool is in a great location with sun all day, even though it is a bit of a walk outside of the actual hotel grounds. The pool is rammed at the weekend because the hotel allows locals to use it, which in a way is nice but also takes away from the relaxing holiday that most people would have wanted when they pay to stay here. The entertainment guys round the pool work really hard. They always ask if you want to participate but if you don’t it’s fine. Shout out to Alejandro!

caoimhe cripps

The entertainment team was amazing. Alejandro was phenomenal encouraging everyone to engage in all activities. He made it so enjoyable for all ages and did his best to learn everyone’s names (which is difficult as I am Irish and he is spanish). The hotel itself was gorgeous with amazing views and stunning breakfast. There were different aspects for different age brackets, which was really inclusive as we had a young group and old group. Overall everything was amazing and will definitely be coming back.

Stuart Jones

We read several reviews for the hotel. We stayed with two children, all aspects were fantastic. Beautiful setting. Special thanks to the two entertainment staff, who were extremely well organised with fun by the pool and kids club. More important great fun!! They put 100% into all of their activities! Made our holiday very fun! Thank you

Matt Dent

The hotel is lovely, the entertainment have been brilliantly funny. Alejandro and Meri are fantastic, very inclusive and actually take time to get to know you and encourage everyone. They're Great with the young ones too, ensuring everyone is happy throughout the day, evening and night. The massage is definitely recommended, the staff at the bars are very attentive also and the entertainment we saw (ie the groups the hotel bring in) have been awesome. Would definitely return!

E Elena

This hotel is a kind where you want to be back one day. We have stayed only one night , but were satisfied with service, cleanse, breakfast and the whole hotel in total. Even though we didn’t find the hotel sun beds on the sandy beach, and the beach wasn’t private, but with public access, and when I take a hotel with beach, for me it should be hotel’s private with sun beds. But maybe we just didn’t find 😅 all the rest was almost perfect

Possibly the best accommodation in terms of services and personnel. From the great reception staff to the always kind housekeeping ladies, everyone was willing to help on any kind of request or question. The social character behind the hotel and the all-people accessibility measures taken from braille inscriptions in all needed areas, from the ramps and the spacious elevators to the very spacious and spotless rooms, makes everyone feel so welcomed and cared for. I must highlight the exceptional Felix from the front desk that helped us so much during both our stays and is also a live example of humane and professional behavior at the same time. Excellent value for money at all possible ways. I highly recommend it for everyone visiting Malaga.

Ich Du

Excellent room and great location. Breakfast was marvellous. The one and only negative thing to mention, there was only one soup available with a pre-purchased dinner. Maybe not the hotels fault but at least one alternative would have been great. In general, nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Jelena Juric

We checked in late (midnight) with 10months baby. Person working in night shift was very rude. After that rudness we found in the room dirty laundry in the closed from previous gust. It is enough to say that they didn't even offer diferent room and we couldn't leave the hotel because it was late and we had baby with us.Reception manager in the morning was very nice and polite but we paid 200euro room and what we got. Unrude staff and dirty room.

Shreya Jana

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is located at 15 mins walk from the train/ metro station. The rooms are quite big. We got a harbor view room and the views were splendid. The cleaning service was commendable. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves limited number of items. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options but they served the same items everyday. Though it is not located in the center of the city (there are few restaurants around), it is just a 10 mins (by bus) from the center. Also, it is pet-friendly!

Raz T

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel in March 2024.Top:room, friendliness of the staff.Tip:*Tiny breakfast room, not matching the capacity of the hotel*Facilities didn’t work (Turkish bath and water temperature of the Scottish douche). In 4 words: ok for 2 nights.

Lengthy check in process took us nearly 45 minutes if not longer. It was all a bit chaotic & unsure what took so long to do! We arrived at around 1pm and were fully aware the check in time was 2pm – however our rooms were not ready for another hour at least after the advertised 2pm. Why advertise a check in of 2pm when it is likely to be after 3pm or later? Our booking had two rooms and we were given two completely different types, one older dated and one that had been modernized. Upon request this was changed but yet another visit to reception down to reception. Our room was eventually pleasant, clean with a great shower. You heard the rubbish collection every morning though. The roof top pool area is lovely, as was breakfast & very well organized considering the number of people staying in the hotel. All communal areas of the pool were well maintained and very clean. The hotel is big so a lot of walking to and from the entrance and buildings waiting for lifts – unavoidable but something to note.We are not given any kind of guidance about the location of facilities at check in kind of left to fend for ourselves to find our rooms and other areas. I noticed confusion amongst other guests about this too. A little more attention to detail and it would have been the perfect stay.

Norm Bennie

WOW!!! What an incredible experience. This is by far, one of the best hotels we have ever been in. Fantastic rooms with a balcony, unbelievable pools, roof top bar, great food and nightly entertainment. Would highly recommend.

Martin Clementt

Beautiful see view is not so much a see view but a neighbors view.Very nice staff and areas hotel. But there are too many people. Eating at the hotel, it's more like a fight for life :)You will have nowhere to park your car. Hotel garage is expensive. The location is also very busy. There are too many people everywhere. In the off-season too.

Bunty Smith

Over the years we have stayed here a few times.I would like to take this opportunity to thank the very efficient reception team for their help with everything connected with our stay. The hotel has been upgraded recently and is looking very elegant our room was well appointed, kept very clean by housekeeping, very quiet and comfortable. We took the half board option and enjoyed the abundance of food on offer, it was delicious!!We noticed from our previous stays how over worked staff are, all staff were working at top speed but could barely keep up with demands. The hotel was much busier than our previous stays and management may need to look at increasing staff numbers to meet demand. Overworked staff is never good as customer service fails and guests get annoyed so it's a false economy. The entertainment was very good especially the Elvis impersonator and the guitar and violin duo. Wonderful musical artists!!We had a wonderful stay and hope to return!!

Denise Meek

Our 3rd stay. It is a lovely hotel. Since our last visit, there have been a lot of upgrades to facilities. All perfectly good. There is more entertainment in the evenings, food excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. If I had to complain, it would be the usual way of hotels the world over. They charge just a little too much on drinks from the bar.

Lovely hotel but....no entry before 5pm.. .pool doesn't open till 11am.....no towels supplied for pool....buy from hotel at £20 each....not enough sunbeds......lots of kids (well behaved) but thought it was a boutique hotel - rooms were lovely though and garden and architecture great

DO NOT STAY HERE WITH A DOGIt says pets allowed - more like pets tolerated if you’re willing to lock them in a minimally airconditioned room for your entire stay. You have to sign a disclosure and ‘pet rules’ which is totally normal. They say your pet is not allowed in any ‘interior spaces’ which again makes sense I understand that. It says and I quote “The pet can only be inside the room and in the common passage areas to access it. It is totally forbidden to enter the rest of the interior spaces such as restaurant, games room, and the rest of the rooms, except for the circulation areas of the hotel complex.”So you can see my confusion when turns out it ‘interior spaces’ also means ‘exterior spaces’ and we are meant to know that even though there is no reference to the outdoor garden, by the pool, outdoor part of the restaurant, outdoor bar area and the outdoor common passage areas. Why would you not make it clear on booking and on the pet rules sheet? To trick you into paying for a room?We got accosted in a hallway with the receptionist arguing with us.I suggested they need to change the wording on the sheet because it is incorrect to use interior when they also mean all exterior (actually turns out your pet is not ANYWHERE in the supposedly ‘pets allowed hotel’) and they said - no.They were not friendly or receptive to the suggestion and therefore I have to leave this review to warn other pet owners - DO NOT STAY HERE.

Clare Court

5stars as I didn’t want to ruin their ratings, did not stay here, but google would not leave me alone!!! Looks lovely from outside.

One of the most gorgeous hotels I've ever seen.We stayed here in December, a family of 4 in a 2 bedroom apartment.Everything was clean, well presented and truly exquisite. The gardens and pool area were like a dream.I still remember the delicious breakfast muffins.Finding parking can be tricky but not impossible.

BOAT RADIO

Five stars for the amazing pool area. We stayed in a suite for three nights. It was very comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, as are the gardens, and that pool is terrific - our children had a great time. The breakfast is good with excellent coffee. I think my only criticism would be of the location. Sadly, Almunecar is a shabby, neglected and very dated resort town with little to recommend it.

I loved everything about this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful outdoor pools with a stunning views. Restaurants offer high quality dining options during the day. Breakfast also was excellent and good varied. The hotel team impressed the most, they has always been friendly, patient and helpful. Many thanks for all Front Office and MED restaurant team. Definitely will go back!

Andrew Sharp

We had a great stay at Higueron Hotel. The design of the hotel is nice, all the furniture and design in common areas is well designed and feels luxurious. All our meals on site were great, breakfast was a highlight. Be aware of you're there on a Monday or Tuesday that some of the options are closed on those days. The shuttle to the train station was great, although I wish there was a later shuttle. The rooms were the low point of the stay. While the views are amazing and the rooms adequately sized, the layout, however, is really terrible. The sink is behind the bed, only inches away, so if you turn on the sink while your partner is in bed, they may think they're going to get wet. The shower is in the middle of the room, and while that may be fine for a romantic stay, the option of privacy is important. The shower is also right next to the bed and the towel hooks are 3m away from the shower, so unless you're going to go halfway across the room to get a towel, the best place to keep a towel is on the bed.

isabel galang

this hotel is perfection, perfect resort hotel. Close to the beach, complete facility, very spacious. great service, the infinity pool is amazing. The reception staff Jose is very kind and welcoming and the breakfast buffet is really good, the breakfast staff Mica is very nice and kind. And also shoutout to the girl at the information desk who explain to us all the interesting places we need to go in the area and gave us tips, we appreciate her. They made my birthday an unforgettable experience. I’m super happy with our 5 nights stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back!i

The hotel is amazing and we will return and have recommended it to our friends. The staff in every department were extremely helpful and professional and went way and above to assist my ill husband. I will never forget the kindness and helpfullness they all showed my husband and I. The facilities are second to none and well worth experiencing. The food was excellent this is a truly 5 star hotel in every way.

Rooms are very nice, slight musty smell when we first arrived. But leave doors open to air and it's fine. Hotel is lovely too, big but not massive. The splash world is amazing. Lots to do. Evening entertainment is good. Very clean and helpful hotel. Would oCome again.

Alex Bryn Jenkins

Staff were friendly, 3 pool, a kids one plus wave pool and slide. Enough areas that there is room to go elsewhere if one pool is busy. It's not the best beach, but enough inside the park to outweigh that.Food was a good mix that there was something for everyone, if there was a fussy eater or someone who wanted to try something new.Would go again once the renovations have finished. To be fair, the building work at the top end wasn't that disruptive even if you are by the pool nearest to it. Would recommend it as a family holiday.

Ramin Zolfa*ghary

Hotel is of very good standard this is my 4th visit since 2017 it’s been maintained to an excellent standard 7 years later it’s still the same and doesn’t look tired. All the staff work extremely hard and provide an excellent service.I have visited the hotel gym many times over the years it’s small but adequate. I have been told the gym is going to be made bigger next year and the staff member named Silvia who is very helpful and keeps the gym in a very clean condition deserves to be mentioned.

Callie Crombie

First time on holiday to the Globales Playa Estepona, it has been an amazing holiday. The main highlight for us has been the water park my son has LOVED IT. The hotel staff are all really wonderful and the TUI rep here was fantastic, she had a great range or trips to do which we did a couple and had a brilliant time. We were all inclusive and I have to say I think the food has been good, there is always lots of choice, on the VERY odd occasion it hasn't always been super hot but that's not really an issue for me. We have not gone hungry there is always food and drink available, abd again my son has been having the time of his life. It was our anniversary while on holiday and we received a bottle of bubbles in our room from the hotel which was wonderful ❤️. Outside of the hotel is a little trickier it is not in the best location there are a good few restaurants that are walkable if you don't mind the walk we went to La Mamma and it was superb, there is also an Aldi and pharmacy at the end of the road. However if you want to go to the local town you need to get a bus or taxi, the taxi are quite expensive. This is my only grumble about the Playa Estepona everything else this hotel has if your just looking to chill out and not fussed about shopping this is the perfect hotel. We will definitely return.

Daniel Saunders

They is nothing round you. Everything is at least a big walking distance away. The hotel itself as plenty to do for the children. The pools and the water slides are amazing. The food is average with plenty to choose from. Everything in the hotel is really over priced. Apart from that my family really enjoyed it. Malaga airport is absolute radicilous. Took us nearly 3 hours to get thru passport control and get out suitcases.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Staff are amazing and they all work very hard. They are friendly and very approachable. Food is delicious, loads of choice and catered for everyone. Very clean and tidy. Brilliant location for public transport and trips. Would highly recommend.

Hotel is okay. Great breakfast/lunch spread, beautiful location, and clean. But lots of negatives that don’t add up to a nice stay:-Our “king” bed was just two twin beds pushed together without a coupling device, so there’s a big crack between my wife and I-The wifi in our room and in most of the hotel is AWFUL. Short spurts of speed tantalize you with the promise of faster connection, but 90% of the time it’s been extremely slow or nonexistent, which makes remote work very difficult.-The hotel staff seem to follow rules fastidiously even when an exception should be made. My friend tried to get coffee from the automatic dispenser a few minutes before the official breakfast opening time of 7:30am and was shooed away angrily… lol. We checked in at 1pm after a redeye transatlantic flight, dead tired, but were told that the official check-in time is 2pm and they couldn’t make an exception, so we went and passed out on the lawn chairs for an hour.-Beach towels require a 10 euro downpayment that must be made in cash… why??? It would be so easy to charge this to the room and release it when the towel is returned. Clearly this hotel is not catering to international guests who not have cash on handLots of annoying things with this hotel, so I’d look elsewhere. despite them getting some things right.

Very tidy hotel and room. Friendly Staff. Decent qualify restaurant with plenty of choice available for all tastes. Nice bar area. Nice outdoor pool and fantastic beach views.

Jolanta B

A strong smell of chlorine is felt only after entering. The furniture of the rooms is outdated, the bedding is poor. The service staff is rude. The food served in the hotel is not tasty, the dishes are broken... The experience in this hotel is disappointing.

Great location, no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. Breakfast selection not great. Hotel very clean and staff helpful.

Not enough entertainment, but beautiful setting staff were fantastic... place immaculate, couldn't do enough for you. Brilliant position. Only thing that we felt was missing was information about what was going on locally and trips and nothing was going on in the hotel, only DJ but not very well attended.

Michael Jardine

Very different to the marketing material. One very cramped pool; memories of passive smoking and close proximity to absolute strangers; small, grubby, and not very private beach. Dance sounds from Ibiza DJ playing throughout despite not being appropriate for typical guest profiles. Other promised entertainment did not materialise. Mediocre dinners. Small room with very limited wardrobe space. To be fair, breakfast was OK, and for the most part, staff were very friendly. The location is good for Old Town. Overall, our expectations were well and truly not met, and we wouldn't dream of returning.

Jonathan Lozano

Our experience in this hotel has been fantastic, they have very attentive and friendly staff ready to help whether in the front desk, restaurants or beach. The breakfast buffet is delicious and they have very healthy options and a little bit of everything for almost any diet so I highly recommend taking it. The rooms we received was clean and spacious, we had the balcony so if you’re able to get that as an option definitely worth the extra spend.

Sandra B

Super hotel, lovely staff. Excellent breakfast options Inc cava on ice. Little sweets available in pots around ground floor areas. Beach restaurant was good, we only used the main restaurant once. The Messina restaurant was under refurbishment so unfortunately not open. Rooftop bar was a bit small. Rooms had a good view (booked side sea view). Comfy beds, tea/coffee, mini bar. Safe etc. slight problem with some lifts getting stuck. Spa floor got a bit slippery. Great location short walk to the centre. Adults only. Overall really liked it.

David Hopkins

Love this hotel in the center of Marbella. The Amari hotel is located for adults only. It has an absolutely wonderful view directly of the sea front in Marbella plus its own beautiful restaurant and Chiringuito right on the beach. The pool area and the bar area right on the beach is absolutely amazing. It has wonderful pool and sitting for all the clients services is absolutely amazing and the art installation within the hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff and the service in the hotel is 100% the best they are so happy and friendly and welcoming. It’s amazing from the moment you enter the hotel to the moment you leave it’s smiling faces.

What a wonderful hotel - we were blown away with the place, staff and location! The breakfast buffet was well presented and lots of selection including fresh fruits, hot breakfast ( sweet and savoury) along with a selection of fresh smoothies, juices and hot drinks. The service throughout our stay was amazing, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the activities are fun thanks to Rita! :)We really enjoyed having the live music whilst chilling by the pool and during breakfast.Overall it is a beautiful place to stay, it has everything you need. We will 100% be returning! Thank you!

Excellent hotel and location! We stayed for a week with our 6 month old son, and everything was outstanding! Spacious, bright rooms with everything you need, including a sleeping cot! The food quality is excellent, fresh food and great variety. They are great in catering for dietry requirements (with loads of gluten free options). The staff are very friendly and always go the extra mile to accommodate your requests (Special mention to Cynthia and Blanca!!). We highly recommend this hotel and are already considering coming back here.

We chose this hotel as our place to stay when we visited Marbella to get married. The staff were brilliant, the only answer they had was “yes”. No complaints and would definitely go back. A special mention to Juan, Pablo and Riocio (excuse the spelling) - collectively they made our stay nothing short of amazing!Would I go back? YesWould I recommend to a friend? YesDo I wish I was still there? DefinitelyThanks guys!

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Staff at reception were wonderful. Such a shame you can't pay for anything and have to add the charge to your room, you don't even get a total cost or have any idea how much anything is. Makes it especially difficult if you're sharing a room with a friend as you then have to split everything and work out everything later. Also not a lot of evening entertainment going on.

Jason

The service was excellent! Jaime Jordana took great care of us with personalized service. He was outstanding and made our trip very special. I highly recommend this hotel as the attention to detail is top notch! Great job Iberostar and great job Jaime! Thank you so much for making our stay exceptional.

Spent 9 days there. We found everything about this hotel very comfortable. A home away from home. Loved the location. Easy access to the centre, but away enough to enjoy the long promenade coastal life. The staff very very friendly and helpful. All of them. I will definitely go back.

Christopher Simon

Vincci Hotels are more dependable & consistent in this part of the Costa Del Sol than some others we have tried recently. This one especially so. Service is absolutely faultless in every way. Some internal features such as the light fittings are beginning to look a bit dated in such an othetwise modern Hotel, but the comfort and convenience on offer mean that it's scarcely relevant.

Liene Altroka

Very nice hotel. A charming view of the sea. Breakfast is great, but I missed fresh vegetables. Location away from the center...in a quiet peaceful area. With cafes in the area. A slow 35 min walk to the center.

Roy Mukungunugwa

My Girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Vincci Malaga, and I must say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. What truly set this hotel apart for us was the exceptional service provided by the front of house staff, particularly Isabel, David and Adrian. From the moment we arrived, Isabel and David at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure a seamless check-in process. They took their time to provide recommendations on the best local attractions making sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Isabel and David were always there to lend a helping hand with a genuine and friendly demeanor.During our time at the hotel, we had the opportunity to interact with Adrian, one of the concierges. His knowledge of the area and attention to detail were truly remarkable. Whether we needed assistance with room service, securing a dinner reservation, or arranging transportation,The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, with modern amenities and a stunning coastal view from the rooftop terrace. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing oasis after a day of exploring the city.Overall, our experience at the Hotle Vincci Malaga was simply exceptional, and I attribute a large part of that to the outstanding service provided by Isabel, Adrian, and David. Their dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction is truly commendable and sets this hotel apart as a must-visit destination in Malaga. I highly recommend the Hotel Vincci Malaga to anyone seeking a truly memorable and personalised hotel experience.

The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are not properly cleaned. Tv doesn’t work. Front desk staff is friendly and Marivi, she’s is great to talk to, the restaurant staff along with bar staff are amazing. The food in restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend the restaurant in this hotel.

Pink Peonies

We stayed only one night as travelers not vacationers, but it was a disappointment. I can’t imagine why anybody would choose this for an actual vacation: the pool is as big as the one at my house, the beach space is also small, and while the pictures present a nice hotel, our two bedroom ran out of hot water which meant that for $1000 a night two of the four of us showered in cold water. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but I’m tired of being grateful that a hotel meets the standard that you actually pay for. Staff poorly trained in general, but there’s an occasional nice kid around. The highlight is Isola Restaurant which has great food and service and. actually looks over Bodrum unlike the rest of this hotel, but you can dine here without staying at the METT. Skip it for your stay in Bodrum, you have endless in-class choices in town.

Andy Zheng

We had a lovely stay at the METT! The staff treated us extremely well and made our experience here very memorable. I want to recognize a few of the staff who went above and beyond during our stay.Berfin - she delivered exceptional service during our breakfasts. She made us feel warm and welcome every morning and we thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we had with her. We love the smile and positive energy she brings!Efe - the moment we walked in, he greeted us and made us feel very comfortable. We really appreciate the hospitality he showed such as walking with us to our room and taking care of all the logistics during our stay! We appreciate his high level of professionalism!Additionally, room was super spacious, clean and comfortable. The views and amenities make it an even more unique place. I would definitely recommend staying here for any occasion!

Daisy Hill

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the Mett Hotel in Bodrum. The hotel was excellent and the staff were so helpful and kind. Great views and location was five star. The facilities in the Spa were so clean and nice. The staff made such an effort for my partner’s birthday. We really would love to come back to the hotel. Many thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Ayah Sharif

We spent 5 nights here in June and though overall it was a pleasant stay there are some points of improvement. The staff in general were all very friendly and accommodating. In particular we really liked Karoy and Berfin from the waitstaff, and Reny from the spa gave an incredible Turkish hamam experience! As for the negatives: if you’re looking for a place to relax on the beach with a book this probably isn’t the hotel for you as the music from the adjacent Holiday Inn is blasting, as well as the hotels beach club Folie. The conflicting loud music was quite annoying and they didn’t turn it down upon asking. The beach and swimming space in the sea is really small also so not the place if you’re an avid swimmer. The hotel design itself is really odd, the elevators to get to the rooms are in the fire escapes which made getting around not as smooth and not a good look for the guests. The food in general was really tasty - especially Gulet for lunch, but everything across the hotel took a long time to arrive, and we had to ask multiple times for one thing (such as water or olive oil). This was the same for the water in our room - I had to call everyday as they forgot to replenish it.Overall - it’s a ‘nice’ stay, but it doesn’t match the luxury price we paid.

Adam Watkins

Absolutely loved our stay at this resort in Turkey! The service was top-notch, and two employees, Volkam and Suleyman stood out. Their attention to detail and expertise made our experience unforgettable. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful accommodations and great amenities. Can't wait to come back!

We have stayed here a few years ago and in this May 2024 we returned here, the quality is still the same and high. I would like to point out the breakfasts and dinners we enjoyed a lot, because the food is very tasty and the people, who is working here are so nice, we felt like in a family. Rooms are with a balcony, spacious and comfortable. The beach is just across the street and nearby is a supermarket. As well the hotel has a nice bar which is open to 11 p.m. by the pool. WiFi is working very well.

Danielle Maguire

Upon arrival and throughout the first few days of our holiday this hotel seemed great. The room was spacious and exactly as shown on the online images. To start off, the outside tables near the sunloungers were dirty and filled with stains as well as the floor of the hotel rooms not being cleaned. The room we were provided had 2 single beds and we had noticed that one of them were a little faulty as it wasn’t stable on the floor due to the legs of the bed. No issues, we just put up with this. The night before we were due to come home, the “good” bed that we had in the room had broken after one of us sat on the end of it. We went down to the reception and told the male receptionist on duty (his name either Emilio or Ciro) that one of the legs on the bed had broken and that when we had lifted the bed onto its side, 2 of the other legs were missing. We then thought to check the first bed that we noticed was faulty and this had 6 legs.He noted down our room number and said that there were no technicians available until the morning. He never offered a room change, due to use being told since, this is what would have happened. That night we slept on the floor as we had no other options. On the day of checkout, we checked out and the €100 deposit they had held was returned to us.Since then, we have logged a formal complaint with this hotel and Love Holidays in which they have responded to say, they weren’t aware there was an issue with the bed as we never reported the broken bed and if we had, then an alternative room would have been provided. They stated that we also didn’t make them aware of the situation upon checkout. Why would we do this, when we had already notified them the night before? They then added to their story that the maid had gone to clean the room on the day of our checkout and noticed WE had broken the bed for the second time. First they were unaware the bed was broken and the next minute they say the maid had noticed it had been broken twice. If this was the case, then why did they refund our deposit. Seems to me they knew the bed was faulty before our stay and didn’t care. The location of this hotel is in a perfect spot, very close to the seafront however the lack of customer service and compassion has let it down massively. Please avoid this hotel at ALL costs. I have attached the communication with the hotel below as well as the image of the broken bed.

the dark

Hotel is clean. Rooms are big and cleaned everyday. Pool area was nice and quiet. Breakfast was bland and cold. There was four of us and we thought we were singled out around the pool area a couple of times. My wife asked at the bar for a cup of hot water to make tea and sit at the poolside bar but she was told she would have to go her room. We decided to stay at the poolside bar and have a few drinks which was nice. Another guest who we didn't know arrived with her own bottle of wine from a supermarket, had it opened at the bar and sat with us. A while later a staff member approached us and told one of our party that we couldn't bring our own drink in. It was explained to him that it wasn't our wine but he didn't believe us. Another day at the pool we got a drink at the pool and were served our drinks in plastic cups. Hotel policy. The next day though numerous people were drinking at the pool with real glasses. We did open a tube of Pringles at the pool and were approached by a staff member who informed us it was against hotel policy we apologised for error but other people around the pool were eating and drinking their own food and drink. It left a sour taste for sure. We won't be back.

Bronwyn Boland

Lovely location with beach so close, rooms spacious and cleaned with fresh towels everyday .We were enjoying our first few days then a few things left us quite upset and a bit confused to be honest .We totally understood rules regarding no food /drink at pool, one day we had our own snacks at pool and were approached twice to ask us to remove them ,we apologised and of course knew we were in the wrong, but hard to accept this as people around us were drinking from glasses as opposed to plastic glasses as was hotel policy, I think what upset me the most was an evening we were having drinks in pool bar, another guest asked if she could join us ,she had her own bottle of wine which was uncorked by barman ,after a while barman approached me and said we couldn't have our own wine ,I informed him wine wasn't ours and we had been spending money all evening at the bar,bar wasn't busy so he knew we were paying ,why not call out the lady who was breaking the rules??Very embarrassing for me, I had a word woth reception the next day ,needed to air my feelings and make them aware that we were singled out and blamed for other people's rule breaking which left us feeling quite deflated ,angry, embarrassed. We are not children there were 4 of us aged 46 to 60 and we just wanted a relaxed chilled out break but by the end of the week we were just upset and felt very uncomfortable. Please remember to ensure everyone is obeying your policies and don't single out 2 couples for one mistake .Suffice to say we will not return which is a pity as we were really enjoying it ,maybe have more staff to ensure all guests are following policies ,then u won't have the excuse that staff can't keep track of all guests .

Teresa Behan

This Hotel is my favorite it's not a big place but it's Soo relaxing and peaceful Lovely staff and gentle housekeeping staff if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this is the perfect holiday

This hotel is dated, but very clean. The furniture is extremely uncomfortable and in need of updating. The bedroom had two single beds pushed together as a king size bed. They didn't even have king size sheets, so you basically had a single bed touching the other single bed in the room. The pool has no umbrellas for shade. You need to buy tokens at 3 euros for each the washer and the dryer. We will not return here unless it gets a major overhaul.

The rooms are set out in a village setting surrounded by gorgeous well maintained trees and bushes..The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is relaxing and well maintained and lovely views over the sea. Also the food is plentiful and an excellent choice at all meal times. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with mini bar and large bathroom. Oddly though toilet rolls seem in short supply and i ended up having to retrieve some from the public toilets as we were left very low. This hotel is lovely and although a bit remote there's bars near and a short bus ride to Marbella. If you're wanting to have a drink after your evening meal there's only the hotel bar. Any others are a taxi ride or a fair walk. 7km to Marbella and 6km to Cabpino beach. Not for people wanting a lively nightlife .

An emergency dilemma the start of our holiday in Marbella. This hotel came to our rescue. Recommended by a staff member who lives not too far from the hotel . Our private rental failed us. We were greeted by Javier at the Marbella Playa with a smile. He went the extra me to accommodation.odate our family needs. My parents are elderly, 80yrs & 75yrs. My father is blind with little mobility.. I am his carer.. ..Room, breakfast, staff and cost.. 1st class. Value for money.. Do Not Hesitate to book here. Accommodation, food, facilities and location, all 1st class.. Thank you everyone...

Ruta Veikutyte

Its not 4stars hotel. I can give only 1 star. It needs renovation!!!! The smell in the rooms- terrible. Maybe its because old beds. The balcony/terrace- need renovation, the water from fontane was going throw our terrace all the time- it was like small river under the table and chairs...The teritory is very beautiful- full of beautiful small houses and plants. After renovation it could be amazing place for holidays! The bar- old style, with plastic furniture. The scene and sound system- like 50 years before. Swimming pool- too much sunbeds in one place. Not cosy, crowded.Prices- too big. And prepare to wait long long time at the reception...

Brenda Bryan

Been twice now and going back for a third time, find it so relating and the staff are lovely. The food was more varied than I have previously experienced in other all inc hotels. Got health and mobility problems so just need to relax so not bothered about wi-fi. Looking forward t my next visit in September
