Here are some tips to keep in mind while on your trip:

1. Wear sturdy trekking shoes since the terrain can be rugged.

2. When holding a coffee cup, avoid holding it by the rim. Instead, hold it from the bottom to follow local customs and traditions. Your tour guide will provide more information on this.

3. Refrain from pointing at people as it's considered rude and may be viewed as an invitation for evil.

4. Be open to trying nomadic foods such as horse meat, mutton, and fermented milk dishes.

5. When inside a Ger camp, avoid whistling and sitting with one leg over the other.

6. Avoid offering money or gifts to locals as it may offend them.

7. When visiting monasteries or other places of worship, dress modestly.

8. Support local culture by purchasing traditional clothing accessories made of cashmere and vibrantly colored paintings.
