4 months ago, I stopped being an employee. PURE MAMA Skincare, Co-Founder and entrepreneurial life for me. And no:- I don’t miss my corporate job (just the people)- I don’t miss the 7 hours of commuting per week- I don’t miss being torn between two businesses- I don’t miss my corporate salary (well maybe a bit) because I know that this will pay dividends And even knowing approx. 90% of startups fail it was time to take the jump. To join Lara Henderson and to grow OUR business.In fact, since taking the jump:- I can give PURE MAMA 100% of my focus- I am there to support our team- I have the headspace to work through the challenges- I am contributing to the long-term success of the business vs being reactive- I have true flexibility to be there for my family- I am backing myself and our team to build a successful global brand together- I now have the confidence to use my decades of experience to build a business for me.And 4 months later, I sit here in a shared working space in my activewear reflecting on the value that my leap has created, feeling excitement for what's yet to come.
