Check the academic calendar to review class schedule information: https://lnkd.in/dSJ8CA6 Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to ensure all enslaved people were free. This came after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation freeing slaves two years earlier.
