The wind is howling here in the PNW and our power has been out a few hours.
I am worried about my indoor crop.
The last time we had an extended power outage, powdery mildew got a foothold and I ended up starting over.

Bandit doesn’t seem to mind…

I checked the weather satellite, and I would have to agree.
Doesn't look friendly , at all.

Bit of lost coast or handmade similar will foil the jokers plans there batman.
Pm and rot need the ph. Lost coast and a derivative I make has bi carb in it which alters ph and it can't get hold. I use it on all my veggies pumpkins especially.
Hope that helps

Last place I ever expected to end up, for sure.
I might make it up there yet but likely not to live. We're mulling over traveling around the country a bit but unfortunately I scored a really nice job a week after arriving here.
I'll know for sure by year end.✌🏻

Towing a construction barge along our south coast . Beautiful weather so it’s been a pleasure so far . Those two lights out back are the barge on a 400 metre long 44 mm wire dipping approximately 6 metres below the surface in the middle as a shock absorber . The first crew snapped the wire before even exiting the bay . Lesson to the owners that you get what you pay for ☝️

I haven’t been out into open ocean for a number of years so it’s a buzz to even just see the sea life again . Humpback whales are cruising down your coast in numbers and dodged a few lobster pots along the way as well to keep us alert . Passed a Sunfish yesterday about 5 foot across with a massive fin protruding up out of the surface . You forget what life inhabits what sometimes appears to be vast volumes of nothing but water .

Those (ocean) Sunfish are amazing creatures, mate.

I haven't been on the open ocean here in some years either. 😐 But we do have some herds of whales here on the (West) Pacific Coast of the USA. They are crazy huge when they're close and you're in a small boat. 🐳😱

I love lobster with butter. 😋😋😋

Let all of the village take heed, this is how the real world title of Captain is earned.

Unlike some of us, who go about having bestowed the title upon themselves with no real basis, in a jacket stolen from an American Civil War museum exhibit, and epaulettes taken from a passed out drunk drum major.

Respects, @Ramjet159 well done sir

Power is back on.
57 hrs of darkness & no fans has not been good.
Gotta do a lot of pruning ASAP and spray them with some wettable sulfur.
They’re ready to flower!

I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a Sunfish swimming upright on an even keel so to speak . They always resemble a yacht under sail leaning one way or the other and down where we are they’re also swimming upside down which must really confuse the shit out of them . It’s probably why they coast along so slow always working out where the hell they are going . I’ll bet the big Att knows what’s going on .
